One thing we here in Greece admire about Ikarians is that they never do anything by the clock (they usually open their stores at noon) and therefore live without stress, they are not suspicious of others and they are just born happy😺😺 Thank you for this special video ♥️ and I wish you visit Ikaria soon🏝️🌞

Thank you for this very interesting video! My grandma is 88 and her sister is 96, both are bright and well and have a great relationship. In them I see many characteristics you talked about. They've lived through WW2 and have a very particular, resilient attitude toward life. I can only hope I've inherited some of that.

I heard about it 😘 I will probably avoid watching it because I want to visit some of the other Blue Zones over the next year and I want to have my 'OWN' experience. 💙

I live 33 miles from Loma Linda. I heard about the residents’ belief, life style choices, and vegetarianism. I can’t quit meat. My body craves it. I don’t drink or smoke. I try my best to purge stress. I swim everyday and swing dance during weekend.

I just returned from a couple of weeks in Sardinia. 1 week in the mountains in a tiny village near the north and 1 week sailing with a group of Italians. I also spent 1 month in Sardinia near the beginning of the pandemic. Both times recovering from burnout. I am somehow 'called' to this island for healing and it works magic. Sardinia is extraordinary and full of wonderful surprises. There is so much more to the island than first meets the eye. I highly recommend taking a closer look.

Love this video! And the topic! I have been fascinated by the blue zones too and have read The Blue Zones - 9 Lessons for Living Longer and listened to several podcasts. So intriguing and I think definitely worth considering how to add some of these into our own lives

Legume Club!!!!! I've been vegetarian for 30+ years, my sister for 40+ years. She's always favored tofu as her mainstay protein but I am all about BEANS & LENTILS. So filling, delicious, and versatile. p.s. Have you shared the link in a prior video for the blue spaghetti strap jumper dress you're wearing?? I have always been obsesed with those dresses you can wear tops underneath. 😀

The explanation on the wine thing, is that alcohol is not compatible with the majority of medications. So people that are not drinking at all are most likely to have some chronic illness prohibiting them an alcohol intake. So it’s not because alcohol is somehow helpful, it’s rather a sign of an overall healthy person.

Been slowly reading about Ikigai for the last year, and want to live or at least visit Japan or Mediterranean and hopefully convince my partner. Surely climate has something to do with it as well? I am in Canberra and oh god i get depressed every winter, lack of sun and even colder temps. 7 degrees is dreamy😂

Jesus said “I am the way, the truth and the life; no-one comes to God except through Me (John 14:6). Jesus wants you to to cast all your cares on Him because He cares for you (1 Peter 5:7). Only by repenting of sin and trusting in Jesus to guide your life are you spiritually safe for all eternity. I encourage you to prayerfully read The Holy Bible.
