Travis. If you had a merch store selling shirts with your best quotes then I'd totally break the bank. Love your content.

Travis, you have a knack for fully explaining why the Church is the only Church with a coherent theology.

Their sola scriptura worldview can’t comprehend the contradiction of Isaiah and Paul. The LDS concept of ongoing revelation and modern apostles that help us understand key doctrines, give us the balance of having canonical scriptures while being open to additional truths or new interpretations authorized by those with Priesthood keys.

They literally gloss over the contradictions you point out. The guy laughing is utterly incapable of even the conception they may be wrong.

What supersedes all errors is personal spiritual experiences. I go to God if I don't understand something.

4:46 completely went over his head. According to them Yahweh is a liar and they didn't recognize that their theology creates a contradiction.

5:10 lol There is only one God in existence Alma 11 27 And Amulek said: Yea, there is a true and living God. 28 Now Zeezrom said: Is there more than one God? 29 And he answered, No. 30 Now Zeezrom said unto him again: How knowest thou these things? 31 And he said: An angel hath made them known unto me. Joseph smith is such a False prophet he became a false prophet in his own book.

@zionking2634 , of course this is a statement made many decades before Jesus’ birth and referring to Jesus as both the God of Israel, with whom they have a covenant. The conceptualization this God has a Father is a revelation understood after the incarnation of Jesus. All you've done is demonstrate you've never read the Book of Mormon, specifically 1 Ne. 1, Mosiah 14-18, 3 Nephi 9-27, or Ether 1-3.

@@zionking2634 Amulek is right. We understand the Godhead as part of an eternal divine unity. It is not incorrect to say their is one God when you understand what it means to Christ to be one with his Father, which is described very well in John 17 and in the Book of Mormon. It is a voluntary unity that the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit have shared for all eternity. It is this unity that they invite us into under covenant, we become “partakers of the divine nature” through the atonement of Jesus Christ. Taking a scripture out of context doesn’t make you smart. This is not the slam dunk you thought it was.

@@joeriv4151 You are mistaken and are reading words into the text that aren't there. The conversation we're addressing was a Q&A between an evil leader and a godly one. Z asked, "Is there more than one God?" Amulek, inspired by God and His angels, answered, "No." If Amulek believed what you're stating, Amulek's proper response should have been "Yes," but Amulek didn't say that. The last half of your response contradicts Amulek's teachings. "Partakers of the Divine nature" in the LDS context means becoming a God. This means there would be more than one God in existence. If Amulek meant unity he could of just stated it. So, who's correct? You or Amulek? Also, "partakers of the Divine nature" doesn't mean you will become a God in the Traditional Christian context.

@@missionarydiscussions1286 I'm disappointed that you continue to disregard the context of Alma 11. The Q&A statements in this chapter are not Old Testament declarations predating Jesus Christ or revelations understood after JS incarnation. As I explained in the previous video, according to Joseph Smith and the Book of Mormon, Jesus Christ has been known through scripture since the time of Adam. Your recent citations further support my point. All the verses you referenced are from Old Testament times, except for one. It's clear you haven't fully read Alma 11, as verse 38 asks, "Is the Son of God the very Eternal Father?" Amulek's response in verse 39 confirms the divinity of Jesus Christ as the Son of the Father also *44.
