I love how these are actually hobbies that you do FOR yourself and your own enjoyment. I feel like hobbies nowadays often have to "pay up", e.g. if you don't have an Etsy shop or turning your hobby into a productive thing, you're doing it wrong. When it's so important to have activities that you enjoy just for the sake of doing them. So thank you for these fun tips! :)

I love this video and idea 🥹💕 I would also recommend: 1. Doing stuff with beads. Weather it's those that can be ironed after completing the pattern or those that you pull on a little wire to create stuff. 2. Puzzles. Simple, classic ☺️ 3. Making preserves - jams, pickles, etc 4. Collecting things - leaves, flowers, cool rocks, shells. Something to connect you to nature. 5. Learning useful stuff - how to sew on a button, how to bake bread, how to make basic repairs around the house. Have fun y'all 💖

And if you don't want to use actual supplies, there are lots of coloring apps - great if you have a tablet. When I want to zone out, I put on a podcast and open Happy Color. I also find things like word games and crossword puzzles relaxing - achallenging puzzle can keep me occupied for a while. Oh...and gluebooking! Use a cheap notebook or (or any publication you would normally throw out/recycle - catalogs, brochures, etc.) and glue stuff in it (magazine images, product packaging, paper scraps, etc.). That's it. It doesn't have to be pretty, it doesn't have to make sense, and you don't have to show it to anyone - don't think, just glue. If you are feeling more creative, you can try collaging, which a more intentional combination of images, textures and colors. There's lots of good gluebookers and collagers here on YT if you need some inspiration. 😊

Sometimes deep cleaning or organizing my home while listening to wholesome audiobooks is cozy for me. Other times, watching bullet journal videos on KZbin while sipping a cup of warm tea. Also, almost anything that is on the PickUpLimes channel, just cozy as is. I also love the act of lighting scented candles with a match (that sound can't be replced by anything, soooo cozy to me) and watch them, sipping a cup of cinnamon tea and listening to lofi music. I have 3 cats, it is very cozy to pet them, kiss them, listening them purr and I especially love it when one of them curls up in my arms and falls asleep 🥰🥰 After cleaning our home, I usually turn on dim lights and listen to chill music and just walk around barefoot, that's also a cozy feeling. Whenever I take all my clothes out and say goodby to the ones I haven't ised for so long and I know I never will, and only put the ones back that I am actively using, I feel so cozy and wholesome and free, and fresh. These are my cozy things 😊

I love so many of these ideas! I'm becoming addicted to your channel. 🌺🌸💮 Reading and listening to podcasts is my go-to cozy activity when I'm under major stress, but I love the ideas you have. And that you're always in search of the things that will give you "cozy joy." I'm a stress magnet, with lots of things around me that induce anxiety. So I'm always looking for that next thing to add to my Cozy collection. I do embroidery (what used to be called crewel) because my mom gave me her 50-year-old framed crewel embroidery to keep. And it inspired me. There are lots of freebie patterns online, and it requires only a few things to get started. Also, macrame!! It's back in style, after all these years. And it's easy. I'm still using little kits, but I can see that I'll be quickly graduating to freestyle pretty soon. Also, one more thing... I totally agree that magazines are the ultimate cozy. When I was in the hospital, and having a rather painful surgery done, I couldn't focus on anything that required my hands doing anything. But magazines gave me a peaceful feeling. 💚

What a lovely video topic!!! And what a cozy room and person. Glad to have stumbled on this! Some others I'll mention can be: listening to cozy music, cooking, making and enjoying good quality teas, doing puzzle...there's screen ones such as making Pinterest boards...outdoor ones such as going to a kirtan or maybe riding a bike, ice skating, yoga, farmer's market, movie theater, a play, getting a professional massage, visiting public Christmas light displays, book clubs, hanging out with an animal, etc.💚

Giiiirrrrl! I send postcards! A few months ago I started sending postcards around the world and the picking or making the postcard, and decorating it has become my happy place. I get to be creative and make someone smile on the other side. It's a win win.🤗🥰

I knit, crochet, read (Kobo), play on my Nintendo Switch and do jigsaw puzzles. There are heaps of modern ones out there both new and second hand. I also have a small collection of houseplants and a huge veggie garden that i work in most days. All of these things make me calm, relaxed and happy!

I like to make hair accessories. In my hair class I was told to make a hair piece and ever since I've been wanting to make another. I sew things together and it's very therapeutic for me
