The greatest FASHION DESIGNER of the 20th century must be Karl Lagerfeld. In the process of reinventing Chanel, Lagerfeld was also transformed and became an icon himself. Eric Wright said that“A lot of people said that Chanel was a dead house while Karl liked the challenge of showing people that they were wrong.” I have often marveled at Karl's creativity:The interlocked “CC” monogram, Chanel’s first miniskirts, Tweed jacket… What’s more, I think Karl Lagerfeld is a master with FASHION ETHICS. He completely understood and respected Coco Chanel's core spirit:Independent, Avant-garde, Rebellious with a strong sense of style, Pearls more than Marriage. He even developed further.
