I think one of the kindest things you do in addition to sharing this amazing channel is when you find a deal like the cereal you don’t clear the shelf off. You leave some there so that other people can share the same deal. ❤️

I've been one of those people who go for a deal, and I see someone take everything off the shelf, and I'm left with nothing. When that deal could have helped me stretch my money that week. So I have made it a rule to always leave some so everybody can benefit!

I don't know how many brands of fries DT carries, but Rebecca at Dollar Tree Dinners uses them like regular potatoes because she says DT fries do not have oils on them. You can bake, boil, mash... use them any way you'd use a regular potato. Now that's versatile.

Dollar tree is where I buy all my spices… That tomato basil is delicious and they also have a citrus garlic. That is amazing and the best part yet is because I have to eat low sodium. They also offer salt, free spices. Most of them are also low sodium… in comparison to most of them at Walmart is four dollars and up I have paid up to six dollars for a thing of spices… Ridiculous I know… Dollar tree is definitely my go to for spices… I only recently discovered the 2.5 gallon baggies and love them!!!

Brooke, I needed this video after a cra-zazy day today! I went to my local Dollar Tree this morning on my round of errands, and it was well stocked. Learn the stocking days (mine are Monday and Thursday), and you'll get what you need. Go in mid-morning, and you'll see the people putting things out. I mostly go in there for food items, but, you know mouthwash, some cleaning products, etc. (I picked up two large candy bars as well...). We are a household of two. The Pandemic changed how I shop, and I'm always looking for longer term storage items. The pickled Jalapeno's keep forever, the shelf stable Milk is my best friend, it lasts almost a year (I got tired of expired, lumpy Milk when I was pouring my coffee in the morning). They also currently have a Turkish hot pepper sauce, which is Shatta, by the brand WildFare. I am totally into this! They also currently have the Susquahanna brand Marinara sauce from Pennsylvania. I amped it up with sauteed onions, garlic, and pickled jalapenos, it was quite good. No $6.99 jar of sauce for me, I'll assist a lesser expensive jar in any way that I can. Next time that I go, I'm going to check into the spices and the toothbrushes. Thanks.
@martynscott70066 ай бұрын
@@sonyafox3271 Turkish hot pepper sauce is called Shatta, not Shasta. Maybe their is a language difference along the way in the pronunciation. I do like it very much, I bought 5 more jars today.

It's much cheaper and tastier to use bulk spices to cook for your family. Chili powder, cumin, onion powder, garlic powder, paprika, etc can be used to make any seasoning mix. You need to stock those items in your pantry. If you are broke and need to buy just the packets of mix to get by, do that and then stock up on spices when you can.

💜 I love Guru Nanda! I found their essential oils years ago (pre-Covid) in the Walmart Pharmacy section. Apparently, the brand is marketed as Ayurvedic medicine. I don't know much about Indian medicine, but I do know these are nice oils! The essential oils are pretty cool because they sell what I could call "blends" for various needs. For example, I have allergies and enjoy using the Breathe Easy blend in my essential oil diffuser (they sell those, too). Now, I haven't tried the toothbrush or the oil-pulling yet that has gone viral; however, I have always been pleased with the brand itself! If I can also get some of their line at Dollar Tree? Yes, ma'am! LOL! That sounds awesome! I just wanted to take a moment to vouch for the brand itself. It's well deserved! 🎉

There's not one super close to my house, but I will go if I'm entertaining and buy my chips and salsa, pretzels, nuts, candy, soda, cups and plates and silverware, table cloths, and most important, serving dishes!! If you take the stuff out of the packages and put it in some clear plastic bowls literally no one will be able to tell the difference and they will think you spent $100 just on snacks! And if you just hand wash them right after the party you can use them for at least 5 or 6 events before they break!

I’ve been getting my seasonings from DT recently and I love the salt free options and the everything bagel. Now the season salts are way saltier than say Lowrys, so make sure to go lightly at first, but I can’t make myself pay nearly $5 for the same size at DT at $1.25, gratefully my stores haven’t gone up to $1.75 like some of the reports I have seen. I barely shop there since the increase 2.5 years ago when they went up 25% store wide, I really think the owners (who own Family Dollar a Fortune 500 company) believe their customers are morons, and I don’t care to shop where I’m looked down on.

The generic similar to Mrs Dash blend - use it literally in everything I am addicted to it. 3. Dish washing liquid. 4. Storage containers for leftovers. 5.Stuffed Marshmallows for use in coffee or as a snack 6. Bagels need I say more ? 7. New coffee cup or microwave dishes. 8. Placemats, dish towels, kitchen utensils. 9.Soaps, bath / shower gels. 10. Hair clips, brushes, combs, hair spray , shampoo and conditioner. 11. Cat litter boxes, name brand scent deodorizer for litter boxes, cat treats, collars, brush 12. Toilet tissue I refuse to pay more $.40 -$.50 / roll usually finding it for less than that price. 13. Craft supplies 14. Note cards 15. Seasonal decor 16. Socks , scarves, gloves 17. Brown or Spanish Rice precooked

Ok back to the idea. You were doing a budget meal and it called for burger, so to stay on budget you bought a pkg with two uncooked burgers to use. I thought wow that was SO SMART thinking. I wanted to make ham n beans, so from your idea, I bought a ham steak from Aldie and used that, and it turned out so good. My spouse said Hon the ham is really good in there YAY me. Well yay you for that smart burger idea. I found 6 oz packets of Hereford cooked hamburger crumbles.....I've seen it at Menards but not DT before today. I tossed one in the cart and will try it. It would make a nice addition to a box of Hamburger Helper for the blessing boxes. From what I can read on the internet. 80/20 ground beef loses 25% of its weight after cooking....so 16 oz (1 lb) would be 12 oz or basically 2 packs of crumbles from the DT. "One pound raw/cooked" would be $2.50 for the 12 oz cooked weight. Typical raw prices are at last $4/lb. If its decent, it would be a savings and a viable shelf stable product. Menards runs almost $3 for the same package. (taking off my math nerd hat now)

My dollar tree has awesome deals, like there’s this carpet fabric freshening powder, a 20oz bag is only $1.25 and hand soups, bleach garbage disposal and washing machine cleaner it’s awesome! I love DT:) Even for those artests out there you can get rolls of washy tape there for only $1.25. And yeees the seasonings are so worth it! I just got 4 ranches so I could stock up. I love cooking and having a well put together pantry. If you like canned soup btw, their loaded potato soup rocks! Only $1.25 for a big sized can. Great place to get so many things. I just got some kitchen utensils and some stove covers for my stove top that have sweet phrases on them. Don’t sleep on dollar tree you all! It’s the gettin place! As my aunt says:)

I find that the cheaper no name English muffins don’t hold up as well in the freezer if I’m using them for breakfast sandwiches so I’ll get the 18 pack of Thomas English muffins for $7.99 from Costco and do a huge sandwich prep. If I’m just eating them within a week for breakfast then I get the cheapest ones lol

I'm writing some of these down: our dollar tree has none of this, it's very small, but someday, I'll find a bigger store, 😂. Thanks Brooke, look forward to your smile. On the bagels are pretty good, with their cream cheese blend, can't beat it

Our dt changed to dollar plus. So it’s hard to tell if it’s 1.25 or More but I used to buy my chenille yarn there and they stopped Selling it 😢 so all y’all send me all your chenille yarn that you find please lol I used it to make crochet stuffed animals to supplement our income so we can eat . People love these animals around here ❤thank God

Some of the over the counter medications are a good deal especially when you don’t have a lot of money on particular weeks.
