I got the feeling that very few of the audience members were famliar with this song. But, I did notice they were all captivated during it. This is my absolute fav song by Lennon. It has simple but very refreshing chord progressions. A very beautiful one, indeed.

I truly feel John Lennon was the soul of The Beatles. His songs after the band broke up sounded just like their material. The others like Paul and George had a few tunes that qualify, but Lennon's stuck the mark more often.

Impressive! Great song too... one I haven't heard anyone cover before. The balance of the instruments is perfect. Acoustic guitar usually gets buried in the mix but it stands out just right here.
