Hey Echo! The dupes-dropping-debris issue can be fixed with the Rest for the Weary mod, which adds a "finish-up" time that is like downtime but makes the dupes finish their current task first. It's helped a lot for me!

14:54 There's a great mod called Sweep By Type that will allow you to use the click-and-drag sweep command and only sweep for specific items (via a checklist). That would make sweeping for all granite within a pile a lot easier. You won't have to find the individual pieces.

I’ve always wondered why there isn’t this option in game. We can select different types of material (mineral, metal, organic etc) and if we’re on the, say, liquid pipes layover it only deconstructs liquid pipes, why not sweep what is being highlighted as an option? Would make handling off gassing material so much easier! 😂

Instead of building temp shift plates all through the volcano room at 1:00, just build strips of them from where the metal should land to the volcanos to the top. Who cares if the whole room is the same temp and it roughly will be anyways. This would save you about 1/4 of your minerals if not more. There is a mod that auto sweeps anything dupes drop when they go to another task.

A suggestion for if you do keep using the cargo rocket as is, is put an auto-sweeper over the infinite storage, with an auto dispenser in its range, but the output out of its range, that way you can set the material you wanna use, and the sweeper will filter it out of the infinite storage. It's a lil slow, but it means it can be a background task while you move other stuff, and then all your granite (Or whatever material) is in one tile for a sweep command!

There's some bugs regarding critters in Spaced Out. I just had a single ranch get stuck in a loop of the Dupe calling to groom, but never grooming.

Well, you could attempt to melt the metal walls on the rockets interior. It's possible and then you can expand the inside of the rocket TARDIS style to fit a mini base inside with a lot of room. It's a bit exploit-y and takes time but the walls have a melting temp and can be melted 😂. Then a good name for the rocket would be the "party bus"

ESS High Velocity Dwarf Why? Well, we already have a Diggy Diggy Rocket, a joke based off Diggy Diggy Hole, which dwarf related. Dupes are themselves very short, about half the height of the average human. They live underground a lot of the time. Clearly, Dupes are in fact Dwarfs! Even better, this rocket is nice and short. Its a Dwarf Rocket! And to make it EVEN Better, its short to go fast. Its a sprinter. Dwarfs are natural sprinters to quote a famous Dwarf. And EVEN EVEN BETTER, the rocket is delivering a bunch of ROCK AND STONE, the domain of Dwarfs. The way I see it, its all coming up Dwarf!

It just seems to me that making self-contained volcano tamers for the three metal volcanos would have taken far less time, space and resources. Cool the metal down to 140-150C in the volcano chamber, then down to ~22C in the chiller.

I wanted to pull my hair out when i saw you dump 10 tons of supercoolant to cool some oxylite. in future if you want to cool items on conveyer belt the best option is Metallic tiles, Cobalt tile has 10X the conductivity of supercoolant. and you are sending 600 grams into a 1000Kg block so thermal mass isn't an issue and you wont even need temp sensor. Also if you only used 50g supercoolant per tile you would still get the exact same results.

I do wonder if people consider the actual reasons to make industrial bricks really. The oxylite refiner makes heat, so that goes into the brick... but it outputs an item, which then has to be cooled if you want to take it outside the brick... so isn't it the same to use the same aquatuner to cool an oxylite refiner outside the brick instead. You get a percent of the power used by the refiner back from the steam temperature it makes if it's inside the brick, slightly offsetting the aquatuner power use... is that worth it? Do we even really care about power in any way if we're already running a reactor continuously regardless? I'm not going to actually do that math to find out if it's worth it, but I feel like it probably isn't.

@ZBB160885 It isn't worth it. The main reason people do it is convenience - it's easier for less experienced players to manage heat if most of it is generated inside a hot steam room.
