On a slightly unrelated note, I really appreciate that you ALWAYS CITE YOUR SOURCES. Even if it is an idea to recommend books at the end of the video.

First time in my life I think about journaling at the age of 30. I have been trying in the past without success journaling was about talking my time instead of adding any value. This is the video that made me start journaling as it felt like a big relief to have an actual positive structure for it that is very beneficial to my morning. Thank you 🙏🏼

"A flop era..." 🤣🤣🤣 Discovered your channel in 2019 but this is my first comment. As someone else said, you're one of the few self help KZbinrs I've come across that always provides genuinely great & actionable content. Thank you! I've been journaling a lot this year & these are wonderful prompts.

can attest to how well it works when you just start writing and writing about what you are feeling. i do it on a google docs document and tell myself to write as much as possible on anything that bothers, annoys or angers me. i make the font quite small so i am not distracted too much by what i am typing and also to have more space to write. the aim is to fill the entire page with my rambles but pretty much every time, i stop before the page ends because just vomiting out the thoughts is so helpful. i start off by just typing the issues that are bothering me, and then it smoothly transitions into questioning various aspects of it which i then start answering. i start to feel lighter and much clearer before the page ends.

i really like that 3rd person journaling idea. this is one reason why i hate journaling because every time i go back and read it, i sound whiney and i go into this repeated self-loathing cycle.

This video has sooo many golden nuggets! I upload videos about wellness and self development as well and posted a video recently about the 5 questions that changed my life. I used to answer them in my journal when things got rough. I would love your feedback!
