"Blue Stratos" was an '80's mainstay: "Blue Stratooooos!"(guy hanglides into the sunset). Used to be everywhere. Glad to see it lives on in Europe. Great review!

We don't get Lider and Wars here. But all the others are easily available to me, like at a pharmacy, a grocery store and a supermarket all within 300m of where I live 😁. I guess I should be more grateful than I am...

Glad to see you Posting More Often. it's always interesting to See Fragrances from a different part of the Planet. I remember really Enjoying Aspen Growing Up because I have a Grandpa that used to Keep a Bottle around and I still like it now but it's been a while since I've smelled it. I think you may have done a Review on it already.

My Dutch/German relatives always used 4711. Although it dates back to 1792 it's still available in drug stores and discounters (Marshalls, Ross, TJ Maxx, etc). If you like Neroli, lemon, lime you'll like 4711. Super affordable.

Yeah I own it, nice scent for sure, more of a refresher though since it lasts like 11 minutes but it smells great nonetheless

denim black edt (frosted glass) is amazing and you would enjoy it also the other denim shower gels, green, black and especially the red one, they are 9 romanian lei here.

There's exactly 3fragrance KZbinrs that I watch consistently. Mr. Smelly1977, Ramsey, and Scents Of South Jersey. I'll say my favorite is a split tie between you and Ramsey. I love how Ramsey just does super detailed and long winded videos off the cuff. On the other side I really love how your show is very concise, and very well paced and designed. Anyhow, just wanted to let you know I love your work. Also, nice to see someone else that loves to collect and track down a fragrance's accompanying toiletries like aftershave, shower gel, deodorant, lotion, bar soap, etc..... I almost like collecting that stuff as much as cologne. (almost, lol) Gift sets are my absolute *FAVORITE*. Got a CK Obsession for men gift set with a 125ml EDT, 100ml aftershave balm, 100ml shower gel, & 75ml deodorant stick for $32 at TJ Maxx!!! Since I was a kid I always noticed that people often tend to ignore gift sets and as such they tend to go on sale *super* cheap. I also go a Curve for men gift set at Big Lots with a 75ml EDC, 75ml deodorant, & 100ml aftershave balm..........FOR $10!!!

@@ScentsOfSouthJersey You're absolutely welcome! I've also been buying different flavors of Cremo body wash when I find them cheap at rack stores. Haven't tried any of their colognes yet but I might pick one or two up. The distillers reserve body wash is fantastic!

Never seen any of these in Canada. Have had the Blue Stratos aftershave (nice). Here in Canada my local drugstores are stacked with Aqua Velva (Ice Blue, Musk, Classic Green Sport), Lectric Shave, Old Spice, and Axe body sprays and body wash. I was surprised to see a few Sergio Tacchini 100ml EDT's (made in Italy) the other day at $20 a piece on the shelf the other day. Sergio Tacchini for Men (1987), Uomo, Black, and Ocean's Club. Of course I had to pick up a few 😀

Yeah all we have in the north east here is just aftershaves at drug stores and supermarkets for the most part, brut, Acqua velva old spice, skin bracer, no colognes of any sort anymore unfortunately, an era that is now gone

I reviewed the regular brutal which was so light smelling it was almost instantly gone but the intense is a whole Other story and I will make a review of it soon !

I have a few drug store style cheapies. They smell great as air fresheners. Problem is they mostly have minimal performance. Blue Stratos is one of the better performers. Tabac is excellent although a little more pricy.

Have you smelled Chanel Boy ? Powdery chypre that slowly turns in a powdery barbershop frag? So good. Wish I smelled it prior to 2023!

All about that aqua velva musk for the europeans looking for american drugstore fragrances. For poland, miraculum makes nice stuff. I have Wars original and i like it, but its too light.

Wars and wars fresh seem very light they are probably my least favorite of the haul, cool to try though. Miraculum makes brutal intense which I really like 👍🏻

@@ScentsOfSouthJersey You're right. I really wanted to write to you these days about this Intesa.I really don't understand why they didn't take out the toilet water? Believe it or not, about 20 years ago it was my most complimented perfume.... after so many years I bought it again.Even so, as a deodorant, it is more persistent than many perfumes in my collection.

Another nice one, gotta love cheap crap that isn't crap! A quick tip for when you order the Blue Stratos EDT and aftershave. They have the aftershave in both a splash and natural spray so don't mistake it for the edt!

When I ordered one blue stratos it said edt and the other was the AS splash so I should be good, but I like aftershave sprays personally but they are very rare

So these would be the equivalent of our: Brut, Aqua Velva, Skin Bracer, Pinaud Clubman and Stetson but with the added bonus of (usually) deodorants and body sprays? Would you say that the rack store cheapie fragrances could also be our new equivalents or would you say that this whole genre of American drug store fragrances has essentially disappeared?

This is a great comment and sort of what I have been getting at in this video and the previous one as well as the upcoming review. For us here and especially in the north east United States from my experience it really is just down to those aftershaves like brut, Acqua velva, skin bracer, old spice, clubman, that’s it, no colognes bodywash or body sprays to match or other random edt’s that are not expensive. I think for a while it may have been common to see that at rack store but now it’s gone as far as those being locked up (in my area at least). Maybe some parts of the USA have drug stores/ super markets/ general stores that carry brands of inexpensive cologne but it’s seldom seen and like you said it may have disappeared completely which is unfortunate

Not to do with this video, but I did go ahead and buy the Alfred Sung cologne with the sprayer cap. Only because you mentioned about it being a bit spicier than the latest (cap only) version. Supposedly, I will be getting it this afternoon in the mail. I just wanted to say that I find you to be pretty Entertaining; two peppers and a banana peel, that sounds like a cheap enough price to me!! Lol.😂

Sung Homme is a great soapy (Irish spring soap) classic mens scent, the older bottle style is a bit more spicy but you can’t go wrong either way ! Hope you enjoy it, one of the best bang for your buck old school mens classics

I have both those Wars --- the classic one is better in my opinion .. intesa and demin also own some of their products -- the original EDT in the metal case too - Lider cologne -- very easy to get all those here in Spain -- Brutal is pending to get it in the near future

Yeah Europe seems to still have easy access at brick and mortar stores of these inexpensive but quality men’s classics, if I want them it’s online only which takes some of the fun out of it or I can’t get them at all. Thanks for watching as always dude !

Haha I'm surprised to see Wars and Lider(this one I didn't try yet) in this haul 🤣 I remember I bought Wars for pretty much $3, used it once and never again as it smells pretty cheap compared to Brutal, which is absolutely bonkers for the price, and it smells very similar to the most overpriced fragrance in the world - Patou Pour Homme. I'm sure Patou lovers will get mad that you can get the same experience for 3-5 bucks instead of paying $700+ lol. Imagine how I felt when I finally got 10ml of Patou just to find it very similar to Brutal (the non-intense EDC), which is also a great alternative to Hermes Equipage 🥲 I gotta get myself some Mailizia Uomo Musk btw. Dirtier Drakkar Noir sounds good!
