You are so beautiful!! Yellow is so flattering on you!!😍 I struggle to maintain my space. Due to a hard life I own very little belongings now out of trauma…fear…finances, etc, but with the very little I own I get very overwhelmed. I am also autistic so doing just one task overwhelms me. I wish I could do it all like you😭

❤ regular decluttering because yes items that no longer serve me get donated. #3 is definitely I do with my closet. 💯 category. I also keep a running list of my items and where they are located, and update the list according in a word document especially since I live with relatives and some items are located on the other side of the home that I do not use often.

That's a great practice and habit to have. Categorizing is such a simple concept but makes such a huge difference. I love the idea of keeping a list of the locations of your items. It's so important especially when living with other people. Good work!!!

I was displaced from my home for a few months because of a flood...when I had to evacuate, I took just enough clothes for a few days and they all fit into a shopping bag like the ones you buy at the grocery store...as it turned out, the repairs that I thought would barely be needed on my home took waaaay longer than the week's worth of clothes I packed...everything was mix and match by accident so my outfits were varied, but I did not miss ANY of the other clothes I had left...clutter runs deep, trust and believe!🌞

First off, sorry that you went through that and I hope everything is better now. It's funny how much we really don't miss items when we don't see them. I know how deep clutter runs, I grew up with parents who have attachments to clutter and still do.

YES!! I have been doing all these! Husband has barely an idea of these rules I do to keep the house of 6 looking decent..... With no positive reinforcement I might add. But anyways!! THANK YOU FOR SHARING ALWAYS!!

I have chronic health issues so I find a place to put a cleaning station in every room. Keep things together you use together. Right now trying to purge. After almost 40 years we may be moving. It is overwhelming especially with health issues.
