Decanting is a must when travelling. Moisturiser, toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, shaving cream, fragrance and even shoe polish! Those kitchen plastic bags that are used to store food on the fridge are also very handy to separate the grooming products according to potential leaks.

"Dopp Kit" was originally a brand name. When I was a kid, everyone had one. The good ones were leather.

I've got me one from Saddleback leather and I love the smell of it and knowing its super durable. I love it so much I use it to pack my speaker and other small stuff when I'm not traveling. Love me some good leather.

Packing grooming products in checked luggage is easy. The hard part is packing for carry-on-only luggage. Fitting all the liquids into a single quart-size ziplock bag is tough! I have medicated shampoo, 2 kinds of acne washes (yes, adult acne sucks), shave gel, toothpaste, body wash, and anti-acne face moisturizer. I got the silicone squeeze bottles shown in the video, but packing more than 3 into a single ziplock is close to impossible.

Kyle, I appreciated how you mentioned the needs of different hair types and textures. Some people only need a hotel shampoo and conditioner, but others may need something more moisturizing and may need grooming products. Or some, my hubby included, don’t need any products (no hair). Lol

Excellent. Battery-powered electric toothbrushes are available. Regardless of the wonderfulness of your home toiletries, 3 days or 3 weeks of hotel products will not destroy your hair, beard, or skin unless you have very particular medical requirements. If you fill or pack a larger-than-allowed container, know that TSA goes by container size, not how much is in it. A 5-oz toothpaste tube won’t be allowed even if almost empty. Also, if you use a washcloth, know that they are largely unknown outside the US, so bring your own. Decisions about things like scissors, pocket knives, manicure sets are made by the agent checking you, not what you saw on a website. I prefer to check and avoid the hassle instead of carry-on.

Greetings,\ This is a repeated comment from a previously posted video but I'm so appreciative of your good works I wanted to make sure I was heard by all of you excellent folks! I just yesterday discovered and subscribe to your superb channel and am both thrilled the grateful to you and your associates for the quality and effort to these most neglected dimensions to define true civilized and cultured art of carrying oneself in an individual expression. I myself would describe myself as an slack jawed troglodyte of a Southern a Californian "Suburba-Billy" but I appreciate your invitation to join the civilized community! Cheers!

I know for me I went and invested in one of those toiletry bags that you typically see women have when they travel with products. I'm talking about the ones that fold up into a travel bag but then can hang on a shower curtain rod

I think contact lens cleaning solution is sterile, so not advisable to transfer solution from a big bottle to smaller one's unless you have a sterile cleanroom and an autoclave. (a bit of a hyperbole, lol !). Better to buy a small bottle of preferred solution than risking a potential eye infection putting a damper on the trip. Thank you for such insightful tips and by the way loved Preston's subheadings, they had me grinning !.

Good evening gentlemen, I have an issue that I would wholeheartedly appreciate getting a little tip/ help with. I have bought a Farah cable knit sweater in my usual size of large and it fits fine but the ribbed cuffs sit a little too low. Just above my thumb to be exact and it's a little frustrating. Is there a way I can have this altered by a tailor or a alternations expert? And is it a simple fix or something best left alone and getting a different size? Thankyou, Luke o'connor~
@maryleung14253 жыл бұрын
U are going to take it to an experienced knitter someone who made alot of sweaters ... they may be able to unravel the end of the the sleeves and finish it off ...or fold under the end of sleeve and sew it up on the inside ...what ever u do never cut it ...that would wreck it .... those sweaters are very warm ....Good luck ....i wish u well

An electric toothbrush works just fine if you are staying at a hotel. There is something called power outlet and they are a thing even at hotels. Also there is like 100g extra in weight so thats not an issue. Not sure why this video would spread such a bad tip.
@toonsoffun57333 жыл бұрын
@B so you don’t charge your phone because you don’t want to pack a converter? Your logic seems to fail pretty fast. Charge phone at night and toothbrush during the day. Problem solved.
