What a great sound. what are the black straps made from, is it leather or rubber. What a great idea in using the straps, was it your idea Johnny???, you are so knowledgeable I will buy this flute from you.

Typically the ties on a flute are made of leather. And no, using straps on drone flutes is quite common and definitely not my idea.

Let your ear guide you. Choose the one that calls to you, but know that the larger they get the bigger the finger spread.

🎩Hi. Nice sounds. Playing with 3 notes on the drone does stop you playing the higher notes though. If you are careful you should be able to get 3 octave notes on the drone. Oh sounds better without reverb. Unless you sit and play under a canal bridge as I do.
