Just a mini criticism . If you dont notice "Decel" and youre aircraft isnt slowing down fast enough. Before you get to arround 120 ish knots in the tripple seven. Just push the toga switches apply toga power and go around. Take the problem into the air . Sort it out and make a full approach back. NEVER EVER FULL COMMIT TO A LANDING . Always be prepared to go arround and allways have a go around plan . Especially if there is a decel problem.

Hi Alpha, nice video, one thing about the parking brake, the real issue with it was that it wasn't pressurised, and the 777 has a specific way to pressurise their hydraulics : R ELEC demand pump first, then C1 ELEC, then C2 ELEC (the two pushbuttons), then the rest of the knobs. If you don't follow this order, you will overload your hydraulic system, and if done multiple times it will cause damages to the plane, which is also modeled on the PMDG

Its Not a 777 thing. In all Boeing Planes you have to Push the Brakes for Release the PB.

Hi alpha great vid Just a Few things 1. At KLM you set the clock for flight time so when you apply take off thrust 2. Pilot response system exists on the real 777 but it depends on the airline but KLM does use it IRL

Lots of practice. Some of us write it down as well. I literally have a small notebook for all of my flights and I use the same template for every flight

@@Adamshanini what really helped me with that is learning what I should expect the controller to say. I use simbrief and navigraph so my route is already planned and I can see my charts. For example, my last flight out of ATL, simbrief gave me the SMLTZ3 departure with WALET transition. So I'm already expecting to hear that. I just need to know what altitude to climb to if it's not the normal 10,000ft the chart says. Same for the taxi instructions. My Runway was 27R. From where I was parked, I guessed (by looking at the chart) that I'd taxi via either Lima or Mike. So I'm already expecting to hear that out of the controllers mouth. Both of these things I already have written and I'm just waiting to see if I have to cross anything out or not. But I'm already ahead of the game because I have it written down 👍🏾

Oh that sucks dude I feel your pain. That happens sooo much to me with long haul flights lol. I did Toronto - Sydney and game crashes right before touch down. I did London - Vegas and the 787 decided to die the eng went to zero thirst cause I’m too used to the pmdg where you can put thrust to zero and nothing will happen so I did on right as we were passing the dome and crashed into the pyramid

Hi, I keep having an issue with V-pilot and was wondering if u know how to fix it: After 5-15 mins or v-pilot working - I cannot hear atc and the blue frequencies at the top right go black… on normal messages it says “NO TRANSMITTING ON ANY FREQUENCY!” It’s annoying as I spend an hour planning flights etc and was wondering if I could help from a guy who can fix parking brakes 😂😂😂
