So much is myth, like the dogs can't have chocolate myth. My sister and brother in law had a tiny dog who loved chocolate. Even ate an entire bag of M&Ms when they were they were out one day and she jumped onto the table to get it. Never got sick, and Patches lived to be 21 years old! Moderation is the key. My conure sits on my shoulder and shares supper with me every night. He just doesn't get too much. All the birds I've had in my life have shared human food.

@@wildflower2485 Same here. Had many many birds in my life, they always shared food with me, and never had a problem. Just let your bird have moderate amounts and she should be fine.

Bird Nuggets, do you know why my two male and female budgies do not have eggs? We bought them last year March, so it means they are at least one year old. Maybe they are not male and female? Sprite, my male budgie, has a light blue cere, (male, correct?) and my female parakeet, Violet, has a reddish brownish cere. (female, correct?) I think it might be they really do not like each other. They never preen each other often. maybe only once every other day? Any tips Bird Nuggets?

hay Nugget, just wanted to ask, should I get my budgies wings clipped and when they grow back train them to fly, because the have been raised in a cage all its life. The one time I let it out it didnt know how to fly so it kept flying into walls and fell of my bros top bunk (bunckbed) and luckly the bird didnt have any inguries. No, budgies' wings should not be cut. This will damage their psychology, make their growth very difficult, make training difficult, reduce their trust in you, and keep your budgie in the cage with food.If training is first then take it out
