It will increase the bending moment , below beam will simply increase the dead end load...its o.k for a balcony chajja , or open terrCe , but for heavy loads this type of extension is better to avoid...

@@SumiSejpada-vs9ij , the cantilever should to from a rigid support like beams or proper load bearing structure.. the licenses of beam should satisfy norms ie l/d = 7 or more..

Sir my room size 12*18 I give hidden beam at 9 feet all four side 9*12 beam now on first floor I want 5 inch partion wall from one side beam which is 5 feet away from beam....5 feet distance pe hai partion wall .....partion wall ke niche no hidden beam .....hidden beam distance 3 feet per hai kya ye safe hai

It is risky if gap is too much ( above 3 meters )is the extension made on cantiler )? StructurL engineer to verify all this if you want to construct .. it should take that much bending...

सर अगर कैंटीलीवर 3'-6" हो और कैंटीलीवर कवर करने के लिए 5" दीवार 10'-6" ऊंचाई तक करनी हो तो 5 इंच दीवार के लिए कौनसा बीम साइज ठीक रहेगा ?

9 inch wall is not recommended on cantilever slab even the wall is outer side. We can go for 5 inch wall with RCC lacing at each 3 feet height
