Man, your way of demoing things is still my favourite: explain things while building up tasty tunes and take the time in-between to enjoy the music. It must be an art or something, because I've not seen many people pull it off.

By the way, I kept getting distracted by that quote/unquote "stereo" spring reverb on the right. When will we get to hear how it sounds?

That chord mode on drums and with feedback really turns my frown upside down. I’m yet to dive into digital with modular because i know my life is going to spiral if i do. Multi-effects rarely bring me joy. I say all that so say this is fucking rad!

One of my favorite demos you’ve done. Wow.

Sick! That morphing is nice! I went with a lot of Erica stuff because of the morphing. Hook an LXR to a Maths and graphic vco and let the morphing commence!

Please consider, through this demo, of being responsible in person for my order of this module 🙂

If I ever get Eurorack hardware, I'd build an effects case and this would be in it, along with a Databender and something granular like Beads. The reverb and feedback shifter are particularly good! Unfortunately I'm skint but in the meantime, VCV has a module called Transit from the Stoermelder collection. This enables mapping as many parameters as you want on any other modules, then you can store presets and fade between them over a period of up to 10 seconds. This effectively morphs because you're slowly changing all the parameters at once. The only other hardware I've seen that does this is my ancient Lexicon Vortex. That somehow morphs between completely different algorithms and I'm still not sure exactly how it works, but they badly need to make it into a plugin!

Any suggestions on how to make these kind of modules standalone? So not a big Eurorack system, but a small desktop case including midi and a psu.

Get a small 4ms podX… down the rabbit hole ya go😂
@maikvanrossum25 күн бұрын
@ 😅🫣😬 exactly, therefor as ‘small’ as possible and needed to host such a module with a MIDI to CV converter. So a 4ms Pod34X (powered) would do?
@joshuamorganmusic25 күн бұрын
@ yes indeed! I had a 64x and it was deep enough for the expert sleepers es-9 and various 2hp modules (which are all some of the deepest modules around). Side note; highly recommend the es-9 for midi/cv module

@@maikvanrossum yep, that's what I did to make a Befaco Oneiroi stand alone.

Thanks! Will have a look at that option 👌🏻 to protect myself, but still to get my hands on this FX module 😊
