但缺點也很明顯葉菜類跟瓜果噴上後會形成白色的一層粉層這樣採收時還要每片葉子跟瓜果都要洗且對軟體昆蟲只對幼體殺傷力才強更別說灑的過程吸入自己肺部了購買的商家也要有品牌(品牌出問題也多)因為珪藻土和石綿來自相同的礦源且珪藻土的晶型結構和石綿相似石綿是致癌物難保不肖業者混充有害昆蟲都有別的非農藥的辦法去除用硅藻土真的吃力不討好以上是我使用過的心得

硅藻土來除跳蚤真的沒用因為我在二樓放了滿滿的硅藻土在地上約兩星期以上完全不掃除以為可以除跳蚤結果是無用的因為我經過二樓或是去二樓洗衣服還是會被叮個滿腿都是疼我的貓關在三樓已不讓她們去二樓了狗狗在一樓也不讓他上樓了跳蚤真是太強大花了一年的時間除跳蚤越除越多本來用殺蟲劑噴了六瓶也沒用～自己經過二樓聞了就頭痛用噴火槍只是能殺少許除跳蚤的噴劑噴了幾瓶還是可以看到跳蚤準備用水煙來試試已買了10組等寄到再來試試讓人感到恐怖的跳蚤原來是：如此驚人的可怕😱
