9. Make a File.

In the final chapter of this tutorial we make an MP4 file of the edit, It is becoming more and more common to send people MP4 files. These chapters were uploaded to KZbin as MP4 files and they play on lost of smart TVs. Thankfully EDIUS is very good at making MP4 files and with Intel Quicksync can make them quicker than anything else.

when I skipped the enable customizable conversion and direct export, when I check the video properties of the file, the frame rate is 29.97fps and not what I customized at start of my project which is 30fps, I think Edius does not really allow 30fpes export which I can do in premiere!

im not sure if im doin it right? when I export I click on h264 same as what you did, but always enable conversion checked and manually select 1080, 1.1 aspect, select 30fps audio to 192kbps, but when I click export, I get an error edius cannot convert pls check your settings, it will only allow me to export when I change the frame rate to 29.97. but in you video you didn't go thru enable conversion. my project has been customized settings 1080p 30fps 1:1 square aspect 2 channel every time I start a new project, can I just straight go to export without going thru enable conversion?

Edius is flexible on videos in editing part, but I have a problem with exporting h264 file, it looses flexibility on export to file only allowing what they want, when I do a project with a different frame rate, example 1080p 30fps exactly for KZbin, it will not allow export, unless I bring the export settings to 29.97fps, I started the project with 1080 30fps and edited everything on exactly 30fps, but Edius has limited the export to file flexibility and I find premiere to be more flexible today. I can export to exactly 30fps which KZbin wants on premiere no problem. If I exported a 30fps video and upload to KZbin, there's no waiting or processing delay, it"s live faster than uploading in 29.97fps.
