The goal of this Hearthstone Big Warrior OTK combo deck is to use Rattlegore combined with Spiritsinger Umbra! We do this by playing Umbra and Gather Your Party to pull out Rattlegore! This will generate 155/155 stats from the Rattlegore alone! Super fun meme deck! Good luck!

It looks like when it dies rattlegore ressumons itself and then gets -1/-1, allowing this strange interaction with umbra, however the other ones don't because they didn't die?

When you think about it more, it makes a bit more sense. The Rattlegore was 6/6 so when it resummons, it should be a 5/5. Because there were 2 Umbra's there would be 2 extra 5/5's from the 6/6 Rattlegore's deathrattle. Then, when the 5/5 Rattlegore is summoned, Umbra triggers its deathrattle to make a 4/4, which is then triggered again to create a 3/3. The graphics are probably just bugged, Blizzard probably never accounted for this happening because they hate wild.

@@kevinzhang8643 I'd agree if it made 2 4/4 instead of a 4/4 and 3/3. Becuase both Umbras would trigger the 5/5s Deathrattle. Somehow the first 4/4s Deathrattle gets priority over the first 5/5s 2nd Deathratte.

@@Spanner1971B It's just like Kevin Zhang said, the Umbras trigger after Rattlegore re-summons but before the -1/-1 happens. So what happened is when clone 1 (original) was summoned as a 6/6 it made clone 2, a 6/6 that was about to get a -1/-1 but the second Umbras triggered. The first Umbras is still tied up with making clone 2 so it can't do anything but the second Umbras makes clone 3 a 6/6 that resolves gets a -1/-1 and becomes a 5/5. As it resolves the moves to the next interaction which would be the first Umbras but it is still busy so the second Umbras goes off and makes a 5/5 that resolves gets a -1/-1 becoming a 4/4. Repeat 4/4 that resolves gets a -1/-1 and becomes a 3/3. board is full so no more clones or new triggers goes back resolves clone 2 making 6/6 into a 5/5 then goes back and resolves clone 1 making i t a 5/5.

I don't think it would work, since Rattlegore is basically a set of 9 cards. Rattlegore9 has deathrattle: Summon Rattlegore8, that one has deathrattle: Summon Rattlegore7 and so on. Buffs don't affect it, and the rogue quest would basically just make it a 4/4 that resummons itself 8 times.

@@Cyrikyty i think you are right, because for example it doesnt make sense that if you artificially change the stats on a rattlegore to a 1/1 (like the paladin subdue spell) that he would die completely. good logic!

Cyrikyty it works , rogue quest is change your minions stats to 4/4 FOR THE REST OF THE GAME , this works on rattlegore where he becomes a 4/4 each time he dies , silence doesn’t affect the 4/4 effect but it does remove the deathrattle

it actually shows that rattlegore respawns as is and then gets -1-1, rather than respawning with -1-1 immediately. first 6/6 rattlegore dies, comes back as 6/6. 2 umbra triggers create 2 new 5/5's. the first 5/5 triggers an umbra into a 4/4. the 4/4 triggers a 3/3. then the original who was 6/6 during the whole chain finally gets his -1-1 debuff. thus explaining the 3 5/5's

@@JackCarregan um what are you saying... read the explanation and watch the video. umbra triggering ln a 5/5 would create 4/4's. if the interaction wasnt as i explained, the board would be a 5/5, 2 4/4's, a 3/3 and a 2/2. and you can clearly see the original 6/6 rattlegore get his -1-1 debuff last, causing the 5/5's

@@trixmtll1393 you all are saying the same thing, one overcomplicating it and the other oversimplicating it xD, umbra triggers deathrattles of the minions that are summoned, there are 2 umbras, rattlegore 6/6 dies, so now we have 3 5/5 on board, the thing that doesnt cope wth what you say Trix, is that rattlegore spawns with indeed, only 5/5 stats, duno why the first 2 appears with 6/6 and then get debuffed, but when he dies normally and the third one in this video goes off as normal, you can see in other videos or situations where this doesnt hapen, it might be lag or something since the combo is going off.

@@fernandoblanco3926 mark was wondering why he got 3 5/5's.... and thats because of what i explained. rattlegore dies. comes back with the same stats, then gets -1-1. mark understood that killing off a 6/6 rattlegore with 2 umbras on board. when the 6/6 respawns as a 5/5. 2 umbra triggers would create 2 4/4's. then the first 4/4 has priority on the first umbra, creating a 3/3. then that 3/3 would create a 2/2. the board state should be 5/5, 4/4, 4/4, 3/3, 2/2. if rattlegore didnt work the way i explained. but we can clearly see that rattlegore 6/6 dies, comes back as 6/6, sets off all umbra triggers as a 6/6 instead of a 5/5. and then gets his -1 debuff. which is 2 different things. its not supposed to trigger that way... its not as simple as "2 umbra triggers so 2 5/5's and the original"

Could you play x2 quest priest and then shuffle infinite Amaras into your deck like the timeout combo? The combo (unrefined) is the same as the Cho/Mindrender/Mindblast but with with double seance and Baleful Banker. The more you discount the cards, the more Amaras in your deck. Bonus points if you mulligan the death rattle quest and find extras off of Shadow Visions.

Combo idea: At some point get a tortoren-> illusion untill u have like 4 tortolens, get a 1 mana elek, and a doomsayer, also get a timewarp Thaurasan on stuff Empty deck, play elek -> timewarp -> doomsayer -> illusion potion Next turn if timewarp drawn, elek-> timewarp->doomsayer->tortolan(illusion potion) If illusion pot drawn, elek-> doomsayer->tortolan(timewarp)->illusion potion repeat untill your opponent concedes

I think what happens with the Rattlegore+Umbra interaction is Rattlegore's deathrattle happens in two steps: 1. Summon a copy of Rattlegore, 2. Give it -1/-1. Umbra triggers the deathrattle before the first deathrattle fully resolves, so the first copy from umbra has the same stats as the original. When there two Umbras, there are two such copies. The remaining copies from Umbra summon as expected. 7:43 - two Umbras 12:14 - one Umbra

Use rattlegore with case of shadows then mind reader then make your opponent draw them and fill they’re board with rattlegores and then play apathy and shadow word death not sure if it works sounds cool though

Nope. It's hard coded to summon an 8/8 first, then a 7/7, then 6/6, etc. It's technically not even resummoning the same minion, it's summoning an uncollectible variant of rattlegore that's 1/1 lower in base stats.

At 7:45 I think what happened is Rattlegore's deathrattle resummons itself, then gives the new summon -1/-1. So when he dies, the deathrattle triggers, summoning a 6/6 that only later will become a 5/5. The Umbras trigger the deathrattle still counting it as a 6/6, summoning two additional 5/5s. Only then the part of the deathrattle that gives -1/-1 resolves, and then the Umbras activate on one of the 5/5s, summoning a 4/4, but inconsistently with the first time, instead of summoning a second 4/4, it summons a 3/3 from the 4/4. Typical blizzard nonsense haha

8:00 that was a very strange interaction, if you look carefully initially it summoned 2 6/6 rattlegores then after summoned they reduced to 5/5's maybe that is where we can start the investigation what the code was doing. I enjoyed this combo despite not being a tyoical mark/thaurissan/otk combo, as i like the variety, showcasing the stuff you can do in HS. Anyone else worked out why there were 3 5/5's yet?

The 3 5/5s is easy. Rattlegore's text says " *Deathrattle:* Resummon this with -1/-1." I imagine how it is actually implemented in code is Step 1: Resummon the same minion (a 6/6; This triggers the two Umbras which trigger its deathrattle twice, summoning two more 6/6s that will be adjusted down). Step 2: Adjust health and attack down. What I don't get is why there was one 4/4 and one 3/3, as opposed to two 4/4s. Maybe there is stack logic instead of queue logic going on here.

@@eiyukabe so basically the first 5/5 is the norrmal deathrattled minion but because of the coding it is summoned as a 6/6 first and only then "downgraded", but the umbra affect triggers before it is downgraded, thus 3 5/5's, which does indeed explain the 6/6 summoned which only afterwards magically turns into a 5/5. The 4/4 and 3/3 makes sense to me though as it seems that each umbra has to resolve its code before the next umbra has its turn.This means that umbra 1 sees the 5/5 produced by the real deathrattle and "umbras" that first but before the second one is triggered this same interaction hasnt been resolved as now there is a 4/4 with a deathrattle to resolve. Thanks for the great analysis, makes alot of sense now!

@@bubyoz Well, the thing is, usually Umbra has to be on the field first. So I dunno if that has anything to do with drop order from your hand, or not, or if Boomship counts them as going onto the field at the same time. Someone can always test it, tho.
