Yes that waterslide did used to be open, not tubbed. Same on all the other Spirit class ships. I went down those slides all the time on Miracle and Legend.

@IAmMiami you know, as long as I'm on a cruise ship slide, I don't care. Worrying about whether the slide is inclosed or open is a problem to be thankful for.

I don’t know why, but I thought wearing a rashie on a waterslide would help make you go faster… obviously not lol

I read the sign and wasn't hiding anything. I know another guest took a camera too.

it says that the waterslide is for 12+ years old ... i wanted to see if they enforced this?

They need to put more water force on that slide..that is pitiful and I'm 46 and like waterslides.. If they want to stay competitive in the cruise market , they need to tighten up and fix that.

Apparently, it's a new slide so the water volume might not have been optimal.
