9 minutes of Premiere Nagravision/Syster (1999)

Nine minutes of Syster-encrypted Premiere programming found on a VHS tape. The end of "Knockin' on Heaven's Door" (1997), broadcast 1999-01-02 via Astra 19.2°E.
Uncropped lossless bt878 capture, uploaded to KZbin as lossless h.265 video with FLAC sound. Deinterlaced at 50fps, upscaled to 8K because why not (and to preserve quality). No noise reduction or colour correction, default bt878 colour settings. The artifacts in the closing music are present in the source recording.

thank you so much for this video it bring back old memories from the astra analog tv era, if you have more scrambled or unscrambled videos from premiere or teleclub or sky channels please do share them! btw did you know that you can recreate nagravision scrambling with cryptimage software ?

Hehe, habe es damals mit meiner Typhoon TV-Karte via PC mit Software umgangen.. War ne tolle Zeit..Hat jemand es auch so Premiere geknackt?

Als _Premiere_ damals gerade neu war hab ich versucht den Film "Meine Stiefmutter ist ein Alien" auf diese Weise zu gucken. Es war schrecklich! 😆 Hätte ich den "Film Foto Roman" aus der _BRAVO_ nicht gehabt, hätte ich gar nicht kapiert worum es geht.

I remember when they encrypted all the Sky Uk channels that used to be fta on Astra in the early 90s. Then all of a sudden you'd get this picture with only sound. Sad days. edit. 1:41 Is that Til Schweiger?

Yes, it's Til in one of his better films :) With Syster's line shuffle (Premiere/Teleclub) you can still recognise a significant portion of the picture. Sky employed Videocrypt which scrambled lines horizontally: kzbin.info/www/bejne/mXykXn6ons2Ah5o
