Also it will include how we handled it. Our gifted friend told us it was not a sw or w and to insult it bc it will anger it and make it weaker using up its energy. Finland hmmm. I mean the Vikings were convinced that all Finnish people were witches. And the pagan Finnish religion was fairly big on blood sacrifices, including rituals that supposedly could imbue warriors with the spirit of a bear. The creature he described sounds like a Jotun Hag, in her monstrous form.

Let me guess. 7 - 10 ft tall. Red eyes . Skinny with pale skin. Walks on all fours when far away but changes to upright the closer it gets. Typically, mimicks the words of anyone that speaks. Likes to hang out outside of windows of a cabin and has the propensity to claw the front door and hides in basements. Can have claws or antlers depending on the narrator. Can run up to 60 miles an hour, while staring into the eyes of the driver of the car. An expert at following people in the dark when they are walking at night. Etc...

I have a story for you. Basically, my friend, (lets call him jack) and he recalled seeing a wendigo with his grandfather. He had his BB Gun with him and he was walking by his house, hunting when he heard a noise from the brush of his house. Then, he looked over and saw the wendigo make a weird face at him in a bush. Then he shot by it and he told that it ran straight to the woods swinging on the trees. Edit: You can see the whole story on Eerie Cast by alagoo (me).

One thing about the Finnish skinwalker story I noticed is that people assume that certain folkloric creatures are unique to only one part of the world (skinwalkers in North America or fairies in Ireland for example) when in reality the oldest werewolf stories in Europe are just that continent's versions of skinwalkers. Heck even in South Asia where I'm from, there are scattered legends of wicked sorcerers possessing or turning into leopards to feast on human flesh (which should sound familiar to anyone who knows the Navajo origins of skinwalkers)

As someone with an Native American background; it always concerns me that people encounter a Skinwalker and a Wendigo. These things are not to be talked about lightly, they are very dangerous and you encounter a Wendigo burn that sucker alive. (They're weakness is fire) Skinwalkers you should avoid at all times.

I went kinda camp to a rly far farm with a group of friends, that farm belongs to one of my friends parents and we felt completely safe in it. to you guys have a good picture of it, before u arrive at the farm, u had a rly long road, about 2klm straight until u arrive at the farm. from the sides of that road and all around the farm, was a green dark forest! and the distance between any part of the farm and the forest was about 200 meters at least. that night we were telling all kind of stories while drinking beer, we had a generator connected to all kind of stuff including a TV with a PS2. it was about 3 am, we went silent, speaking low and everyone was laying down in tents or sofas inside the barn. suddenly i heard someone or something moving outside. For a sec i thought it was one of us who went to take a piss or something, then i count us all, and we were all together, i alarm them silently and we stayed on all hears.. The footsteps went to the back of the barn, then i get creeped when the footsteps start running to the front until it stops. The moonlight was rly rly bright so i approach the walls of the barn and i could see through the cracks some tall figure, looked human, but it had long arms, short legs with a weird shape, like a kangaroo to be honest, when i tried to look up, it crouch and looked direct at me through the crack, i almost pissed myself... Before i want back in muffled screams, i had a small visual of some kind of goat eyes, but more black! my friends and i got all together, we grab stuff around, planks, pipes etc, then a friend said: WHOS IS IN THERE... And we heard a weird disturbed voice, kinda speaking in a grudge way : come here, lets go, come here.... it said that 3 or 4 times, then a friend of mine throw a metal pipe against the wall of the barn in the direction of the voice, and we heard the footsteps again running away, but this time, the sound of running was like a galop, like a horse! we didnt sleep, at 6 am in the morning we grab our bikes and ran home! we never told this to anyone, who would believe us? one of the worst shits i ever been through
