So given Roman's historic reign I'm pretty sure that nothing less than the Main event of WrestleMania is going to suffice to dethrone him. And I think the man that should do it is Gunther and here is how. Around September Imperium should start feuding with the bloodline for the tag titles (I believe by then they would have regained the titles). At the October PPV Gunther lays out Solo as he attempts to interfere in the title match allowing Imperium to win the titles. This causes Gunther to start feuding with solo for the IC title, which would result in a title match at Survivor series where Gunther beats solo. At the December PPV (or if there is no PPV that month a raw episode late December/Early January) Solo cost Gunther the title by interfering, allowing another superstar to win the IC title, Damian Priest in this example.. This should happen in a triple threat though, allowing Gunther to lose the title but not be pinned. Vowing revenge Gunther has a match with Solo at the Royal rumble with Solo. At the moment that he has Solo beat with his finisher the Uso's run in and cause a DQ win for Gunther, after which the bloodline does their usual beating up. Later that evening a taped up Gunther enters the Rumble at a mid number. Between 15 and 20 or so. He would go on to win the match therefore setting up a tittle match with Roman at the main event at WrestleMania. But first he has to finish his feud with Solo, which ends at Elimination Chamber PPV, in a street fight where he wins. In that match the bloodline interferes (of course) but with the help of Imperium he beats Solo. All of this end up with Gunter pinning Reigns clean at the Main event of WrestleMania. That is how I want it to go. Or my second option would be McIntyre, just because his WrestleMania moment was ruined by covid.

The perfect timing was WM. Ref could have taken a bump, solo snaps about the not ready stuff and spikes both people, roman treated the usos like crap when they lost the titles so they'd double superkick and double splash him, zayn and KO are out because they thought the usos were coming out to help roman, and they helluva kick and stunner roman, Cody does his finisher and wins. The only way he's losing is by 5 or 6 different finishes not like 3 Cross rhodes

It HAS to be Cody at Summerslam. Idk if Cody's popularity can survive not winning the titles or waiting again until WM 40 to win, and the bloodline story definitely doesn't have enough material to be dragged on another year. With Jimmy and Jey about to be punished by Roman if (and when) they lose to Sami and Kevin in 2 weeks, the bloodline is really starting to crumble and we are going to see the final breakup over the Summer, resulting in Roman ultimately being by himself heading into his Summerslam match against Cody, which is THE next best and last opportunity for Cody to win. I also believe whoever wins MITB will also cash in at Summerslam so the titles can be split again.

I've given this some serious thought and there's only one name I could think of besides Cody. The one person who could believably be a challenger at the moment is Seth Rollins. Not only does he put on solid matches constantly with just about anybody, and is coming off a win at Mania, but he's also the only person during Reigns' entire title run to actually get a singles match win over him. They had that one match where Rollins was clearly in Reigns' head the whole time, that ended in Reigns getting DQ'd, then had no payoff or follow up to it. There is, in my opinion, more story to tell between the two. And Rollins really leaning into still being under the skin of Reigns leading to, ultimately, finally, taking at least one of the belts from him through constant mind games and throwing Reigns so heavily off balance, could absolutely work.

In a AEWless world that would be a good idea and I even kind of like it as is but here’s 2 small considerations 1)don’t know how much WWE wants people to remember The Shield (‘cause of Mox). Just for fun, I decided to ask an AI chatbot to see a "Vince way" (meaning confusing, unsatisfying, and overall frustrating) of ending the bloodline storyline. What if Solo wins MITB and Roman talks it up like his chance to win the US or IC title, Cody wins at Summerslam and Solo cashes in on Cody instead separating himself from Roman (by this point the Usos should already be out) catapulting him to the main event. Roman then goes on a hiatus realizing he’s on his own. Cody Beats Solo for the belt at the next PPV and holds it until Mania. They can build Cody and Seth (or someone else) to Mania and Solo can rejoin the Usos and build to a Roman/Rock match at mania when Roman returns to take out his anger on the family for turning its back on him.

All these were very entertaining and I like the MJF and Gunther versions the most. I really like Imperium vs. BL just like JD vs BL. However ....... There is perhaps one person Roman hasn't faced. As the Solo Enforcer for the Tribal Chief, Roman enters Solo into the Royal Rumble so as to ensure Brock, Cody, Seth and Gunther don't win. Solo is cleaning house so well that he wins the Royal Rumble. Roman and Paul are having fun thinking they have Mania in the bag. But they don't know that everyone is planting thoughts in Solo's head. Roman is not taking the match seriously and by the time he does, it's too late. And Solo wins 1. 2. 3.

Meh, my last pitch was better than what actually happened at Mania, so why not? As Cody is involved in his feud with Lesnar (loses at Backlash, wins in Saudi Arabia), the WWE Draft takes place with Smackdown selecting Bronn Breakker (Triple H wasn't joking about everyone being available). Adam Pierce is interviewed and talks about how Breakker is sure to be a future world champion, which draws the attention of Heyman. When asked if they believe that Breakker could beat Roman Reigns, Heyman and Roman laugh it off, but don't give an answer. On Smackdown, Bronn starts a feud with Gunther over the IC title, which also pulls in Solo Sikoa who has been tasked with getting the gold by Roman after the Usos losing the tag belts. This leads into Summerslam, main evented by Cody using the MITB contract to get his rematch with Roman, but he loses again. But fans are also talking about how Bronn Breakker was able to overcome Imperium and Solo to win the Intercontinental Championship in a 3 way. Bronn shifts his attention to the Bloodline, as Roman demands that the Usos and Solo put Bronn down. In a title defense against Solo, Bronn is able to ward off the Usos, but Roman Reigns nails Bronn with a Superman punch to give Solo the win and the title. However, Bronn retaliates by attacking Roman as Solo is defending the belt against Ludwig Kaiser, costing him the belt in the process. Roman becomes more and more obsessed with Bronn leading into the Royal Rumble. When Bronn wins the Rumble, Roman starts assaulting and lashing out at the rest of the Bloodline, even Heyman. It all comes down to Wrestlemania 40, where after over 1000 days the Usos and Solo turn their backs on the Tribal Chief and Bronn Breakker finally defeats Roman Reigns. (Also, Randy Orton comes back at Rumble and faces off against Cody Rhodes at Mania for his final match, which Cody wins)

One thing I’m really hoping is that the draft is a hard reset for the brands, where it is separated for sure. Get to 1000 days with Roman and have a big celebration and present him the new Undisputed WWE Championship. You can have the Bloodline in Smackdown and have Cody drafted or vice versa. We introduce a new world title to the other brand, maybe perhaps through King of the Ring Tournament, you crown the new world champ for the other brand (similar to when Asuka won the MITB and then became the champion) That way we have the belts separated by Summerslam, you can have Gunther, Rollins, Drew, Lashley etc take up the other world title and lead the brand. And have Cody still chase Roman to win the WWE Championship by Summerslam
