These are definitely great tips, maybe you could make a timeline on the actual video instead of on the top, that would help with organization imo. Also another tip: Often getting ahead early means you will be hit by the robber much more, so pace your movements so that you don't seem like you're as much of a threat.

Hehe, my sister DID NOT like me threatening to use my Knight to move the Robber back to her. The intimidation worked, DESPITE me being the player on her right! :P Other times I don't even say anything, I just loudly strum my fingers across my Dev card. I can't wait for the time when I bluff my way out of a Robber, with a Year of Plenty. That'll get people angry (if they are paying attention)!

I see Monopoly and Catan as very similar games, so similar that I group them in the same bin. The main differences I would say is that Monopoly needs more of a quick deceit, and requires far more complex calculation and trade negotiations (as well as simply involves more trading), where Catan is more about the resource management with more of an overarching manipulation strategy that needs you to manipulate your opponents long-term, rather than real quick to try to scam them the best you can and then be done with them after sucking them dry. Monopoly trade negotiations are my favorite thing in any game ever and Catan really has nothing like it. Catan's simplicity is charming though and I can see why people like it since it's still a social game but doesn't require nearly as much negotiation or discussion as Monopoly and it's not nearly as complex so even a new player can jump into it and not feel totally lost.
