Let's hope but given that Player characters are only shown as Humanoid Mammals. I won't hope for Cold-blooded Humanoids on the Release day. But let's hope they will add it in the upcoming updates

@@elinisguy well it was only the first trailer, there isn't even a release year yet, could be the first look without all species yet. So there is hope there would be more species.

You may have seen the news that Google's artificial intelligence gamer simulator is being tested on NMS... It could be very interesting to see it integrated into LNF.

You can se so much of NMS in this, of course, which will be a huge help to HG. Think the colours and modelling on the birds, esp the kingfisher looks awesome.

I think it would be really REALLY neat if I could play as an actual skeleton. I'm sure that the skellies in the trailer are probably mobs/enemies but I find the possibility of being one as a PC really appealing. Here's hoping, folks.

Same here. Not only skelly but maybe different Humanoid MOBs too. will be cool. We don't need faction, but being MOB will be cool. Would have liked non-Humanoids too. But it will be way too much to ask.

Don't expect it on release day. And next 2 updates will be Bug fixes and some small features, which simply weren't ready for the release. But VR will most likely be added after this maybe in the second year, than they have good enough stable game.

They don't need to "promise" anything. Unlike in NMS trailer, everything they showed in the LNF trailer exists now.

the only thing I ask for in light no fire is some way to make a mobile base because I'm a nomad. I don't like basing in the same place throughout an entire survival game playthrough

It'd be crazy if they added some big animals that could carry a small to medium base on their back, like in ark.

@@5XXFelipe That could be cool but I'd think that because it's HG it'll more likely be some kind of pocket realm that you can open a portal to, most likely at specific locations where players have built things, that you can then build a small base inside and invite your friends to kinda like freighters are now. I've already figured out the most likely way this will all translate but it's difficult to explain properly without coming out like a word salad lol

@@GlitchedVision Yup, agree on that. The mobile base was just a thought, but if its anything like in nms then we know how that will be (not inhenterly bad imo but there's room for improvement)

Excited for this - might be enough to pull me away from ESO, although that's on the back burner a bit while I explore NMS. I love open world multiplayer games, so really hope this lives up to the hype.

【Shades Finnish Pirates】I keep repeating my wish, one that i sent to the devs as a suggestion and i truly wish it become a reality. Humanoid enemies (skeleton do not count) i mean living, breathing and thinking humanoid enemies. I do not want this game to become a monster, undead or gigantic boss killing game. If there is no humanoids to kill in the game, no honorable oppoents to battle against i might give the game a pass no matter how great the game looks or how great features of exploration & building the game has. If there is not what i want in my fantasy, actual combat against a opponent that is actually on the same level than you as a humanoid and PG rating becomes more important than the actual fantasy settings i really see no true reason to for this planet of Light No Fire to exist.

They should release it in early access and not as a full release. That model works better for this rype of game anyway

@@xPetyrI would guess they might handle it like in NMS where you toggle PVP on or off in the menus. That way PVP players can’t hurt players who prefer not to fight but can still have some fun with like minded players, wherever they are on the map.

I have a PC but it's basically a potato at this point. Not really felt the need to upgrade when I have both the PS5 and the Xbox Series X. Maybe one day I'll build a new PC

I don't want another RTS fantasy game... I wish they had put all that effort into No Man's Sky... They just repackaged NMS to create a subscription game because they couldn't change NMS over to subscription... Greed is ruining gaming and soon we will be paying by the hour to play if Microsoft's monopolization of gaming is not stopped... 💥

Now, don't get me wrong here, but... First NMS release trailer. I am still trying to find the "E3 planet" in the video lol, still to this day there are things implemented in that video that STILL don't exist in game....8 years later What you see in a game trailer don't mean jack.... It's not the finished game, you have no idea of what state the codebase is in, and it wouldn't be the first time that a company blows a trailer that looks amazing to find out it's nothing like said trailer . Get a playable demo of the game you are more closer to the final product than ANY Trailer video would ever show. You don't need to look far for examples of what I am talking about... I love HG, but.... Once stung.... it's took them 7 years extra coding to get close to the E3 trailer , and it's still not there....

The difference between this one and the NMS on is it's not a sandbox environment specifically for a trailer. They mention in the trailer it's multiplayer footage. And with regards to NMS still not looking like the original trailer, that's not their goal anymore. Sure it would have been awesome for it to look like that but things change, you shouldn't expect it to ever look like that E3 trailer because it never will. They've learned their lesson from that, hence why this trailer will look closer to the game than NMS ever did back then.

lol E3 was more an example of a bad trailer, thats all I meant by it. Got 1500+ hours in NMS been there since start.@@BunkzGaming I really hope Sean does it right and don't do a "Peter Molineux" promise the world (again) then fail to deliver

@@BunkzGaming I remember there being small interview or post, where HP officially announced that expect of GA no more "interviews" will be given until the game is released. and that Sean is officially banned from speaking more about the game. IDK if they will really not give interviews until release. But Let's be real they don't really need to. From GA teaser trailer, KZbinrs, NMS community is already doing free promotions and the less they speak more they gain. For marketing they now only need to release the date, one more trailer and it will be more than enough for all the Hype.
