Hello huns! 🌼 Another week, another new vlog 🤭 Since I am on a long leave to recuperate, you won’t be seeing any work vlog for the time being. Instead, you’ll be seeing more of my personal life during this period. For a start, I am sharing more about the renovation regrets that I have, which was completed 4 years ago. Been wanting to do home-related vlogs - and I guess now’s the time.

When I was renovating my home, my contractor advised against brass/gold fittings as they will all eventually tarnish and look ugly. His advise was stainless steel is the best. So it was really a toss up between practicality/maintenance vs aesthetics. We did end up choosing a brass tap for just 1 powder room while keeping all the other showers and bathroom taps stainless steel.

That’s really good of your contractor! Yes, it all boils down to the objectives that you’re looking at - if it’s for practicality or aesthetics. I am only more daring to choose it for aesthetics because I know that this isn’t a forever home for me 🤭

It’s always tough to try to save money on renovations for a house, because once you move in, it will be difficult to do any major changes - great advice for everyone!

@@jaewen resale better. bto is easier as it start from clean state. i always thought you wont have regrets on your home since it looks perfect to me in all your videos, especially with the natural light coming in
