Such good information! I was contemplating whether I should have two newsletters or not, but you've just convinced me to just do it. :)

Oh that's good - what's prompted your decision - are they very different topics? Cx
@thesleepywildflower Жыл бұрын
@@creativelyconsciousUK Yes, very different topics! My current newsletter focuses on my childhood trauma, which can be healing but somber. I am not consistent with it because...well...it's very emotionally taxing. So I'm wanting to create another newsletter that I can write more frequently. It will provide encouraging words, short calming stories and videos - all to give a sense of comfort and wonder. A place where one can rest their troubles. :)

@@thesleepywildflower I hear you... I think the spaces we create are an extention of parts of us so I totally hear you on this. Sometimes when I read old posts I am reminded of how difficult things were and my body remembers as well as my mind. Cx

@@creativelyconsciousUK That's exactly it. The body remembers just as well as the mind. My first traumatic childhood memory is from when I was about three years old. When I wrote about that, I felt scared, helpless and anxious all over again. I think the internal pain stays with us until we learn how to release it.

Hi Clarie! Thanks for the video. I want to use seperate emaila for the different newsletters. Can I edit the sender email when creating a new publication? Or do I need to create a different substack account for the newletters to be sent from different emails? Thank you.

Hmm I'm not quite sure what you mean - can you unpack a little for me?

This is a great video. Thanks! My only problem is that I cannot find the toggle between sections as it is shown in this video. It's August 2024 now. Did they remove that option?

This is me toggling between publications not sections. Here's a post on sections but I think perhaps you got sorted with Russell's support over at Small Talk? - sparkleon.substack.com/p/tidying-up-our-homepage-navigation

How can you change your primary publication? I read this option is in account settings, but I can't find it.

@@Jednostronicowce you want to switch up the publication that displays under your writer profile? You want to be in your writer profile settings rather than your publication dashboard settings. ✨

@@creativelyconsciousUK I know but I can't see it in my profile settings. I can see my two publications there but nothing like "change your primary publication"

Thank you so much for this, Claire! Very clear and well done. :) Are all accounts under your name? I'm wondering if you wanted to use a pen name if you would need to create a separate Substack account/ email or if you can do that under a Substack that you already have published.
@creativelyconsciousUK Жыл бұрын
You can change your name but yes if you wanted a pen name you'd need to start a new account. I have a separate log in for a commissioner actually... Cx

If you have multiple writer profiles (in my case I have multiple pen names for different genres), what happens when you monetize? Are you allowed to connect multiple writer profiles to the same Stripe account?
@creativelyconsciousUK8 ай бұрын
How it worked for me was setting up multiple stripe projects in the same stripe account... hope that helps...
