Yes BGC... foreigners love it there... they relocate and make BGC their home because everything is there... and cheap according to their standards. As for us average Filipinos we cant afford it.

If I may, Brian, I would like to add a couple more reasons. In the Philippines, you don’t have to worry about misgendering someone because everyone's either a he or she, that's it. Unlike here in the states where according to the Alphabet police, there are unlimited number of genders. People are so easily offended, it's insane. Also there's no racism or racial tensions. And you mentioned the election. Man, the country is so divided right now, it's depressing. I'm happy for you though, man. Can't wait til our next vacation next year. I'm gonna go to BGC again and hopefully run into you so we can have a few San Miguels while sharing life stories. Have a great day man!!!

@@rickypayne9192Of course I do, but that's a Thai thing. All I'm saying is that the Filipino alphabet group are chill and not as demanding and aggressive as they are here in the states. Here they are grooming little children as young as kindergarten, reading sexually explicit materials in their classrooms. Their mutilating innocent kids to "change" their sex. You can perform all kinds of surgeries and the boy will still be a boy and the girl will still be a girl. It doesn't matter what they think they are, biology is biology. Here in California, they just passed a bill where the parents have no say regarding their kids' wish. All the kid has to do is tell his or her teacher what gender they prefer and off to the operating table they go. That's just evil, in my opinion.

Actually everyone here is both he and she! Filipinos routinely use he and she, his and her interchangeably, I suspect the local languages use the same word for he, she, and it, hence their constant misuse in the local version of English. As for transgenders, because everyone here is addressed with some kind of title of respect, transgenders are routinely addressed by some people as "sir," by others as "ma'am," and they never take offense either way, at least not the ones that I know. This is not the West. No one is expected to speak in a way that feels unnatural to them, just to accommodate the other person's presumed preference. Both sides in the conversation respect the other's way of speaking, and no one dies, as the saying goes.

Because Philippines is a catholic nation.God fearing.you can even find churces in malls.only in Asia.We have a unique culture.Although there are crimes in Phil but its ,isolated.In US it happens everywhere.schools supermarkets etc.Like i always say. I met a westerner online that was "bad mouthing" the Philippines. Said everything we had could also be found elsewhere. It was a chat room. People were either ignoring him, or arguing back with him. I don't know how it started, or how it happened, but by the end of the session, we Filipinas were his favorite chatmates. 😁 Spidey, wherever you are, I hope you're living a blessed life. 😊

about the food where many foreigners say crap and like dog food maybe filipino just taste differently compared to the rest of the world haha,,yes some dishes is really salty,some are sour taste, one explaination why so salty? because filipinos always paired dishes with rice and they eat more rice than dishes..dishes is salty and plain rice is tasteless right? but when you pair the rice and your dish, the taste is balanced.. why sour? they just like that taste so calamansi with soy is the locals main sauce its the easiest to prepair maybe they just love sour taste,, and why so sweet? i dont know but me as a loical i dont like very sweet so im not a fan of those very sweet breads, fruitsahake,milkshake and halo halo its very sweet if i like coffe im the one to prepair for myself no sugar at all just coffe and milk compared to westener they really dont eat rice i think its a solid dish or so thats why it should not be salty i dont know,,i lauged when i saw an american ordered one of so may filipino dishes to taste what it tastes like, he orderede 10 kind and one is the salty dried fish locally caled it "daing" he ate it without rice and said ooohh so salty hahaha,,filipuinos dont really ate that without rice because its so salty. but yeah if you dont like filipino food atleast there are so many other culture restaurant on the malls serving thai,jap,chi, and other cultural cuisine..korean tourist seems the only foreigner like filipino food ive watched a lot of korean vlogger always come back to mang-inasal restaurant. They also bring Pinoy food back to Korea, some also come just to eat Filipino food by the way sorry my english wrong grammar

As an Australian I can say Australia is not part of Asia. I now live in the Phillipines… a very different part of the Phillipines to BGC. I live in Bohol… where most people don’t speak English… but I love it! So friendly. Having to learn Bisayan rather than Tagalog. I don’t miss the stress of Melbourne. I don’t miss the high prices of Melbourne! I love it here! All the things that people said to me in Melbourne about the Phillipines were completely wrong! They did not understand and thought I was going crazy coming here! I love it here!!
