I have this issue too 😅 I'm 25 and people say I look about 13. A babydoll look as my mum says. Big dark eyes, slim, extremely long hair and tanned skin tone. I normally wear fitted clothes but not too fitting that is makes me feel still. Like gym wear. as a small human, i always tuck on my tops 'cause i find it more suitable for me and i saw that it'll help you look taller because you could see the waist or smth idk and also, wearing high-waist jeans. people might remember me for "the one who always tucks her shirts" like, a trademark or smth lol. as for folding the ends of the pants, i've watched a video before that it'll only make you look shorter. that's why it's good to just let your pants flow until it covers your whole feet lol jk just until your shoes if you're wearing any. does i make any sense? honestly dunno but that's what i know from experience

Whenever I would go to a new highschool some of the kids would think I was a new student and the faculty thought I was a visitor like the 20 yo older sister of another student. The tips are amazing. I'm too grateful. But, is she throwing up gang signs at 2:21 and 3:30? I have to say, it's very obnoxious when ladies of other cultures put out that type of body language when being "cute" whereas, sorry, I think of Breanna Taylor or Atatiana Jefferson and many others who's life is literally taken away because for women in my culture, the stereotype of sassiness is seen as an immoral or criminal character and you could be killed in the blink of an eye for no reason. Let alone treated abusively in public because they'll call you "ghetto" but call the exact same attitude "cute" on a lighter colored woman. It's a full horror show out here in America. Can't even escape it. 😞 Even trying to dress just right but still in danger of being treated like sht in public while dressed nice and on your best behavior- because then people just get quieter and subtler with the racist words and actions they use to hurt you. I just wish more ladies of other cultures recognize all this as part of what they think is cute behavior. The women who need to be sassy to actually protect themselves could easily just be killed for it as brutally as if they weren't human- let alone female- at all. So what's cute about imitating that kind of body language purely for attention, ya know?

You don't know how odd it's to look 12 until they ask what's your name to your younger sibling even though you are almost turning 18. They just assume I am a child and ask my younger sister that looks 16 what's my name or "That's you little sister? How old is she?" "Your little sister looks so smart!" "How do you people allow a 6 grader to speak such bad words!" (I just said a few things like "bro" and "shit" nothing actually harsh) or even "Can anyone take her to the bathroom?" (That time I just told people sitted in at the table where I was going in order to save time if people wanted to look for me, but turns out I ended up in a 13-minute-long discussion about how I'm already 17. I had to wait my parents return to tell their friends that what I told them as true. If I was a 12 year old that would be the right thing to do but I'm not) Yes, I tried dressing, my personality is ok for my age and I do try tell people I'm not a kid, but everyone just assume we are joking. It's even worse when people see me with my younger cousins because we look the same and she is actually a 12 year old.

Hi, when I roll my jeans I fell it cuts my legs off and makes me look shorter, so I normally avoid like I would avoid a mid length skirt, is this wrong?

4'11 here :) Rolling your jeans will create a vertical line that divide your legs. To balance that out, I opt for high-waisted pairs, cuff my jeans slightly and wear shoes that add a bit of height but still define my ankles (chunky sneakers with matching color socks or chunky ankle boots with lace to adjust the knot right at the thinnest part of my legs)

She fails to mention, the torso to leg ratios, which can make these rules completely change for some of us petites! Just keep in mind the 1/3rd ratio, and if the pant looks nice and balanced in you without making you look short then you do that! That's what's right for your body
