I applied to Rice Early Decision this year for an Engineering degree, but I see a lot of people say that people are very anti social at Rice and there is no social life. Is this true? Its making me rethink some things not going to lie because I am a very social person T_T.

@@jermyawilson my name is Laverne, my daughter Abigail just moved in at Lovett college yesterday, we"re from a tiny British Island in the Caribbean called Anguilla, please when you have the time check on her, her roommate is Indian , be my daughter's big sis on campus, she'll need to know where to go get her hair done, I have no one in Houston, I am so excited for my only child yet so afraid, Abby comes from an island with 5 stop lights, no highway, 1 high school, 6 elementary schools, 35 square miles and 12:200 people. I lay down for 9 long months to make "myAbby" , so that she can save my life, 19 years after God has been good, he allowed me to see her get into a good school, I am not sure what's his plans are for me now but I trust him. Please pray and look out for my Abby.

@@stephanirivera9829 sorry I just saw your message, thank you kindly for your words of comfort and encouragement, greatly appreciated. She is an only child and a bookworm, she still hasn't made any friends but I think it takes time. God placed her at Rice, she belong there and he will work it all out for her. Just wish that I wasn't thousands of miles away from her especially when she is stressed but I have to let her figure it out for herself.
