I have a 2024 Prius XLT I have no complaints about the car whatsoever
@mikemartenson43578 ай бұрын
This is my 4th Prius, starting with the 2nd generation. I’ve gotten over 100,000 miles each for the first 3 that I owned with only regular servicing. The 2024 Limited I bought about a month ago is performing as expected. Connectivity is so automatic, even if I forget to lock the doors I get a reminder through the app and can lock them from where I am.

No mention of no spare tire…….

It doesn’t have one or the Corolla hybrid to save weight for better gas mileage I was told.

Yeah, but lots of cars do this this these days as most people will call a service to change a tire. I'm guessing only a third of drivers could actually change a tire. I found a nice aluminum space saver spare for $250. The manual says a spare is an option on my '24 and there is a welded nut to hold the tire. My dealer was of zero help in getting a spare. I hate dealers.

That's a very good review. Toyota's new 5th generation Prius has undergone a major change in appearance, and I think it has become even cooler. It looks like a coupe-style sedan. Because the front pillars are large, the top of the instrument panel is deeper than the previous model, making it difficult to see the bonnet and the tip of the body. The seating position of the rear seats is low, so it feels a little cramped. The hybrid system is now in its fifth generation, and I believe it has improved driving force in the practical speed range, making driving easier, and improving fuel efficiency and environmental performance.

While mostly accurate.. this video is poorly written (often repetitive and even confused language) Was this made with ChatGPT?

No LE offer in my neighborhood sadly but only $35K-40K+ for XLE and Limited. It seems like car dealership knows working class people can only finance used cars these days!

This vehicle is better and expensive or CHR???

Anyone paying MSRP+ for their new vehicles are fools, but luckily for dealerships there isn't a shortage of fools out there to feed their greed.

I would never buy one of these cars with that full glass roof. Why would you be forced to pay over $1000 for that stupid feature? Toyota loves to rip off its new customers. I don't understand why people are saying it's such a beautiful car, it's certainly not. It's about as nice as an Elantra. That's about it.

This video at 1:27 incorrectly shows XLE/Limited 19”wheels for the LE model’s 17”wheels, and Prius PRIME wheels for the XLE/Limited models’ wheels! That’s a huge mistake! The LE’s 17” wheels actually have ugly dark hubcaps. Also, the XLE/Limited models have Softex on the rear seats as well, not just the front seats. Finally, the video frequently shows the larger 12.3” screen when describing the 8” screen. 5:11 8:51

We finally got our 2024 SE Prime after a 21 month wait. It has the plastic hub-caps as well. However, just take off one of them. You'll be surprised at the wheel underneath. It's not the plain stamped steel rim usually found with hub-caped cars.

Wait list in Canada is at least 8 months…. I hope it’s worth it

AWD for this car is NOT WORTH IT. The back motor is similar to previous models, even with the 36 horsepower upgrade. It acts nearly identical to the FWD. Save your 1400. Also, the 12.3 screen upgrade is not worth it. Wait a year or two and Toyota will sell the upgraded version for hundreds cheaper.

The first thing you need to know is whether or not Toyota will supply you with two keys. If they won't, forget the car. Just leave. I wish we had done that. Everything about this car is like the key: not ready for prime time. Our 2023 one-key sits in the garage unloved and undriven.

How many key do you need to drive the car at any given time.
@mwpgator9 ай бұрын
Totally agree about needing two keys. We share the car so we need two keys.
@wifi-YT6 ай бұрын
That’s ridiculous. You only need one key to drive the car.
