Flannagan’s horror is always an allegory for something that affects us in the real world. I can’t wait to see what he does with the Exorcist

They’ve put a lot of time and effort into the F1 film, and had a lot of fun making it so hopefully this will show on the screen.

“This movie probably looks like it’ll suck but they hired a great director”. That seems to be the only qualifier of a sequel that won’t suck according to this vid.
@zerorig11 күн бұрын
i really hate the movie-making habit of coming out the gate with the first part of a "trilogy" but when the original director is onboard for the sequel that's usually a good sign

The worst thing about F1 is that the premise just would't happen in F1 today! Even worse than that is that it is EXACTLY the same as the god awful Driven!

Of the Disney remakes and sequels, I really wish they would revisit Atlantis. I really think this film would work great as a Disney+ animated series.

The Leo and stitch , gci stitch looks creepy, but gci toothless don't, you would think a dragon one would look creepy, not one with hair

The Exorcist wasn't going anywhere. Not that I'm surprised you don't know this,. part of the deal Universal made to purchase the franchise was the requirement to produce a trilogy.

Blade Runner 2049. Not for everyone, at the box office a failure, but a great movie, imho better then the first movie. But both ground breaking.

@johnmoore234411 күн бұрын
The only one I am curious about is Black Phone 2. Aside from the ghost and little sister being somewhat psychic part of the story. The true to life part of it was that kids going missing is something that can happen any day of the week and twice on Sunday.

I get all of them & I’m excited for a few, but A Simple Favor?? I know that’s a fan favorite, but I didn’t like it. It needs a reboot though?? It’s gonna be a scary 2025 for movies among other earthly inhabitants 😱

And Hollywood wonders why nobody goes to the theater anymore! Why am I gonna go spend $30-$40 to see the same rehashed stories just with bigger budgets and generally less well done than the original? Come up with an intriguing original story and I’ll go back to the theater!

Flanagan is going to be the real victim of Exorcist mediocrity. He's a brilliant director/ writer but audiences are going to stay away lest they get burned again.

But… some of these are sequels to original concepts that people liked enough to spawn a sequel… isn’t that what creators HOPE for? Spouting the same tired complaint that’s been heard since the early 2ks, with the delivery of Dennis Miller circa early 90s Weekend Update? Here’s a wild thought. Maybe type out an original criticism or idea that might actually help, _“k, beb?”_

Funny you say that about the Jurassic franchise cause I actually liked Jurassic World I thought it was a good installment into the franchise. At least it was an installment that made the dino themed park work, until greed got the best of the staff to push the limits and go bigger and scarier.
