Hi!! I’m Yosemite and I applied to the animation department at CSSSA during my senior year of high school. This was my first year applying!!
It’s been weeks since CSSSA 2023 had ended but making this video made me realize how much I miss being surrounded by other artists!!
If you have the opportunity to apply, you definitely should because it 100% is a life changing experience and you will make so many life long Friendships.

The shapes you use in your style is so pretty! I was in the theatre department this year and I didn't expect the animation department to be that strict on how you take notes and etc.! Good luck on future endeavors!

CSSSA 2023 was so much fun dude, Im glad you also found the sublevels super fun, I was in the music department and the sublevels were my favorite part of the program as well XDD, it was like a whole entire world that you get transported into LOL, also nice that not many people know about it, did you get to see the little jazz band perform in there?? They're amazing dude. Maybe we passed by eachother! Happy to hear from you that the program was lots of fun, it was a whole vibe man, wish I could experience it for the first time all over again... T-T

Wow Ur sketchbook is so beautiful and cool and awesome!!! This was definitely worth watching!! I am about to start animation at college so seeing this is very helpful to watch and see what is involved in the course and stuff!! Again ur sketchbook and ur art is amazing and beautiful!!!

Also to add I am from the UK and taking level 3 yr 1 animation at college. My school curriculum is probably a whole lot different to yours, but this is still very helpful either way and was very enjoyable to watch!!
