Entering summer, the temperature is getting higher and higher, and your vegetables may need to add more moisture. Today, let’s talk about many kinds of dishes that novice friends often happen, 9 kinds of wrong watering methods, these are my own experience, and I have a deep understanding. Immediately after each watering problem, I will propose the correct way for your reference.
1. Excessive water flow: This is a watering error that occurred when I first started growing vegetables. Faced with such a large vegetable field, I didn't have enough patience to water slowly for a long time, so I opened the tap to the maximum and flooded the vegetable seedlings with flood water, and the soil surface quickly accumulated water. Not long afterwards, I found that many vegetable seedlings were wilted in the vegetable field. A closer look revealed that the roots of the vegetable seedlings were washed out of the soil by the flood and exposed to the air. The surface of the soil in the vegetable field has also become pits and pits, and the excessively strong water current erodes the surface soil; this kind of water impact will also wash away many flowers of tomatoes, eggplants, cucumbers and other plants, affecting the results; moreover, this rapid water current cannot If it effectively penetrates into the soil, most of the water is lost, causing waste.
The best solution is to use a drip irrigation system; if you need to use a hose for watering, control the water flow to a lesser extent to prevent the water flow from harming the vegetables and let the small water flow slowly penetrate into the soil.
2. Watering "half-cut water": Although many friends often water, the vegetables they grow do not grow well. In fact, it has not been watered thoroughly. After watering, the surface of the soil looks moist, and the soil below the surface is still dry. In this case, the roots of plants dare not leave the surface of the soil with moisture, and cannot effectively root deep into the soil. If the roots are not deep, it is not conducive to root development. Without a strong root system, plants cannot absorb enough water and nutrients, and of course they will not grow well. Moreover, with such a small amount of water in the topsoil, it is easy to evaporate and dry out, making the growth of vegetables very difficult. Without enough water to maintain transpiration, the leaves will wilt and wither until they dry out. Only when water is soaked can the roots grow deep and the vegetables you grow can be healthy.
The soil that has not been watered for a long time may even crack, and the water poured directly slips through the cracks, and does not penetrate deep into the soil at all. You can use wooden sticks, spatulas and other tools to loosen the soil before watering. Use a small stream of water when watering, and water slowly, so that the water can better penetrate into the soil, and it will be easier to water.
3. Too much watering: Many friends, especially those who are just beginning to grow vegetables, spoil their seedlings too much, and water them every day, even several times a day. This allows the air in the soil to be occupied by water for a long time, and the roots of the plants cannot be well ventilated. In severe cases, the roots of the vegetables are damaged and the leaves turn yellow. At this time, it is likely to be mistaken for insufficient fertilizer, so apply fertilizer as soon as possible. If you pour a lot of water after fertilization, the problem becomes more serious; in addition, if the vegetables are planted in a place with insufficient sunlight, too much water will cause the vegetable stems to grow wildly, and they will be blown down with a little wind. Up.
The thing to pay attention here is not to water too much, and water again when you see the soil surface becomes dry and white. You can also insert your finger deep into the soil and feel whether the soil inside is dry to determine whether to water.
4. Sudden drying and dampness: Solanaceous fruits, melons and vegetables need even moisture during the fruiting period. If it becomes dry and wet, it will easily cause fruit cracking. Long-term drought has made it difficult for tomato fruits to grow up. When a lot of water is suddenly poured, the fruit expands too fast, and the rate of absorption of water by the pulp exceeds the growth rate of the peel, causing fruit cracking. After the fruit splits, mold can easily grow in the cracks. Radish and lettuce suddenly get a lot of water after a long-term drought, and they are also prone to cracking.
It is good to water different vegetables according to the water demand at different stages.

見乾澆水,見溼不澆,夏季常澆,冬季少澆,各地區情況不同‵,以氣溫為指標,像是熱帶地區四季不明顯不適用
