Great job young man ! You're a natural. I received my pilots license in 1999. Ive been flying rc for about 2 years now, much cheaper than renting an airplane all the time. I just found out im going to be a grandfather for the first time. Can't wait to take my grandson to the field❤ ive already purchased his first trainer...lol.

@@melvinw.quinene841 this is Parker’s dad, I’ve never messed with heli’s, grew up flying airplanes with my grandpa a little bit and just got back into flying back in March and started teaching Parker. Helis are a completely different animal to fly, I’ve gotten decent at them playing around in real flight but no one at the club flies them and wouldn’t have any help learning or setting it up correctly.

I have a E-Flite Viper 90 converted to a Turbine as Well. Its a great flyer. The kid buttered the landing. Get him an Extreme Flight Edge 540 and he will become the next Jase Dussa in a few years.

what's affordable here is the viper... that Xicoy 45 compact turbine is 3/4 of the entire cost of that conversion.

@@rockyfortenberry5845 he has a viper 90 he flew with a 9000mah battery to make it heavy for close to 100 flights to be prepared for the turbine converted version. He practiced for this day, but he didn’t know this day would be the day. The turbine conversion is about another 10oz heavier than a stock 90 with 9000mah battery. We don’t post a lot of long videos but check out our shorts, kid can fly.

@@__Gus_ yeah I didn’t plan on posting the full length video, planned on just cutting it into a short which I did, but just decided to go ahead and post the whole thing. Really didn’t expect to get this much attention on it lol. This plane is just an Eflite viper 90 that’s been converted. His KZbin channel is “litespeed flight demonstration team” and has a detailed video series of how to do the conversion. We’re in NE Oklahoma

Kids learn quickly and are fearless, of course.. because they don't have to worry about the money involved. I've taught a lot of people, and the kids are the ones ending up learning faster than their dads on many occasions, and actually end up teaching them after they go solo😆 nice landing kid, ya greased it in smooth as rum😆

I was probably the most nervous person around! 😂 but there is an unwritten rule in flying rc, if you invite someone to fly your plane and they crash it, it’s not their responsibility to replace it. You need to REALLY trust someone to let them fly your plane.

I’m 57 years old I understand what you’re saying but seriously we all do it it’s dangerous no matter who does it he did it in a very safe manner. What would it take for you to agree. How many times would you have to watch him fly for you to change your mind.Just curious what is the right age?He just proved he can do it.I mean grown men crash all the time should they stop ?
