Had mine since late 2018. Did hiking in Nepal in bad weather with it. Fell into the river while doing white water rafting. I've gone into sea water with it. Into dark caves. The only maintenance I've ever needed was some exposure to the sun ( Tough Solar) every day and some cleaning with a small toothbrush and a bit of baking soda to clean off the dirt. The watch has never stopped working.

I second this. My favourite watch and have had it since 2012! Have survived the beaches and seas of Siciliy, snorkelling in Australia and Indian heat. And has no signs of any wear and tear. One question : Did you ever get it maintained? Like change gasket, general cleaning etc. at a Casio tech store I mean.

... I have not and it seems still waterproof in spite of that! I just use an old toothbrush to clean the fine corners while running water from a sink once every 6 months is all :)

Top tbm tenho esse exato modelo G9300 desde 2020 está zerado gosto tanto do relógio que tenho dó de usá-lo pois tenho várias outros como o GW9400 tbm uma vasta coleção esse eu apenas admiro e o conservo é muito top 😎👌

I have this watch but it's a goldblack version. I think this is the best version I've ever had.

Got mine in fall of 2012. It has held up through a hurricane, manual labor and lots of dirty yard work. It still works fine. Just bought the Gold/Black version. I think I will retire this one.

Are thermometer and compass give accurate readings. Afterall it's 12 year old technology not latest.

I got the same in 2015.. still working but my battery is now in low and blinking do i need to replace the battery now? Or i just charge it using sunlight

I had that problem like 2 years ago leave it in the full hot Sun (in a window I did) for three days, no problem now. had my for 7 years never had to change the battery
