18:03 you had Braggart in hand with Cap. Sanders, you play Braggart then golden it, then buy Disco Shuffler to trigger golden Braggart. Now you win the game. Disco buffs the whole board and buffs you braggart to infinte stats

That pivot is so impressive. Were i in that spot, until recently i'd have felt pretty cozy about myself not having made a terrible mistake up to that point and then die terribly in 5th. Can't figure out when the right time to do it is, and when i think i have something, i usually fail to execute in time. Been getting better at it, but man, games like these really show the difference between a decent, a good, and a great player.

Elise, Patient Scout, and Time Saver are really the only cards that allow a pivot like this. If you're unlucky and don't find any of those at the right time then you're stuck just spamming Demons and white knuckling for 4th.

How much is that divine shield valued at? I know whenever i play kalecgos dragon comps I'll almost always end up with the health dragon, especially goved the golden brann. it also gives a perfect target for blood gems since it buffs the whole board

I’m only at 6400, I always watch hearthstone videos to learn and this has been my favorite channel to do that, very articulate, and practically an expert at seeing the bigger picture (as I usually get tunnel vision and focus on minions I immediately see) happy to be a new subscriber! 👍

Fyi it does work and also if the fire attack kills the minion it attacked then it KEEPS the stealth. Quite broken when can pull it off!

At 5:08 he had a 50/50 on a gigantic minion for Urzul to eat and kept the demon in hand. Why not play it there? Was there something later to hold it for?

@@VeZzE1337 OP was probably talking about the shop before that with the 3/7 and the 5/6, two reasonably large minions in the shop. But of course, hitting a ticondrius or floating watcher before playing that demon would have been more stats than having a 50% chance at eating a larger-than-average minion.

damn man I try so hard to get pinging demons to work today, ran into so many lobby that don't have demons and even after like 20 games of reroll and finally get a good curve the scaling are just way too weak compare to all other builds, especially I hate how beast can just out stat me with no build ups or apm

If you can pick from a selection of heroes you can pick from a selection of anomalies I don't see how one is more complicated than the other. Load into lobby, vote on anomaly, choose your hero. How is this more complicated exactly? How is giving the choice to vote on an anomaly any worse when you can vote on the anomaly you want/can/know how to play.

It would probably be better if they just changed the golden card text to be something like "set this minion's stats to double the highest among your OTHER minions in your warband" so it can't keep doubling itself whenever it gets triggered. But I think it is good to still have it be double the highest stats somewhere because it gives a reason to triple it. Plus it's a 7-star, after all. It also easily loses to scam because it's a tribeless minion that only has stats.
