Just use a cup, with a lid, that realistically fits in the cupholder. She is truly addicted to caffeine (and energy drinks?). It really isn’t good for your heart or nervous system. I DO think she’s saving money by making her own coffee but in the end, the health costs that come from such addictions are too great. 😢 He isn’t supposed to be working till he gets his work permit but there are so many people that work “under the table” or for friends till that happens. He needs a general labor or construction job to keep himself busy and to help contribute. If he has family in USA already, I’m wondering why they didn’t do his papers for him. 🤔 I know someone that is from Bolivia that had a family member do his papers and he was working with a work permit within a week of arrival. He’s working in the same industry as he did while living back in Bolivia.

In the scene after this when they meet Ashley's friends and they ask about him sending money for his family back home. People that live in the States are conditioned to be selfish, mostly because you CAN be. If you don't take care of your kids, there's welfare, medicare and food stamps. If you don't take care of your Parents, there's Social Security and Medicaid. Ecuador does't have such institutions. If you don't take care of your kids, they will literally starve to death. If you don't take care of your parents, they're out on the streets. If Ashley wants Manuel to be her Husband, well he CAN'T LEGALLY WORK until he gets his documents, what is his family in Ecuador supposed to do in the Interim? Get over that nasty habit of eating?

It's very hard to take Ashley seriously because if it were a black man, she would have left him in two seconds ago. Why there's so many single-parent families in the black community.
