A woman from his own culture wouldn’t even marry him because the mom takes care of him and mo doesn’t have a livelihood…. 😬 Mohammed is very ego-centric. He wants her to revolve around him..cook for him/take care of him/ treat him like she’s his mom…probably sleep with him whenever he wants..dress the way he wants..concert to Islam… He’s passive aggressive and actually I think very manipulative. Reminds me of my ex from Iran tbh! He triggers me so much

He is not a catch at all for anyone. He doesn’t have strong masculine energy to me that would make me believe that he could take care of me if i was his wife and that is a universal feeling i imagine. The part that humors me is how not smart he is. He appears to want a green card pretty badly. It seems like he got lucky with Uve, but he isn’t even able to be clever enough to use the situation properly and make sure it isn’t so obvious. He is going to have a difficult time getting the green card now and i can’t imagine anyone in Egypt wanting to support him at the level that Uve was.

TBF, both Yve and Mohammed weren't empathetic of each other's position. He explained to her why it was important to him to have the legal marriage then the ceremony and she explained to him why it was important to her to wait. She didn't care and dismissed him every single. time. He said with his words what she was saying with her actions. I wonder if it's the fact that he wasn't crying or people's overall dislike of him that stops people from seeing this.

Yeah. He is just like his mother. Everyone needs to remember that therapist are not perfect. A sociopathic narcissist could get a degree and become a therapist. And i do think jibri’s mother especially has done a lot of damage to him. I think she is one manipulative and abusive human being. I have seen dr honda manipulate and edit videos, lie, intentionally take things out of context for abusers that he personally likes. Take his words w a grain of salt. And if you want proof watch him review andrei and libbys clips. He is delusional. I think he projects his own insecurities and preferences. All of this is subjective. Its all from his perspective. " Well I think that it's obvious(they're in love).... well it's not obvious" about Eve and Muhammad being in love is the best thing Dr Honda has said about this couple. Jibri goes on and on pronouncing judgment on all the couples possibly because his relationship isn't really making him that happy just like his mama said. And then he picks all the wrong couples. Even muhammad, as we ultimately learn, or not obviously in love or maybe she was but he was a big question mark.. Jilal and Shaeeda will be fine. Bini.... well I hope they make it but I'm not sure about that one because I don't think she really wants to be married or in that kind of a relationship. She likes being by herself and taking off and that's why she's no longer married to her first husband. Jibri needs to take care of himself. "Thou dust protest too much" comes to mind when he starts talking about how their light is so bright together. I guess we'll have to see..

Muhammad clearly did not explain himself or he really has no empathy and doesn't care about Eve. I think he was trying to say, when he said the legal marriage has nothing to do with the wedding, that they could get married legally at the courthouse and then have the party and the ceremony for the event of the wedding and that would get him started on the paperwork so that he could work and sooner than later go back and see his mother. He is very young and everybody forgets only 23? Or something like that. He is immature and he has been coddled by his mother who does everything for him so he is rather self focused and thinks anyone who gets in the way of what he wants is being selfish. Maturity. And possibly he just wanted to come here and Eve was the means by which he could get to the US. And in this case that's what it looks like at the end

The sponsor thing is just a misunderstanding. There are two different types of sponsors: the petitioner who you are going to marry and are in a relationship with and then there is the option of a joint sponsor which they’d need if there is not sufficient income on the petitioner side. In Yve’s case she did not do her taxes in time so she couldn’t prove significant income in the US. This is when you can look for a joint sponsor that would be financially responsible for the Greencard Holder when the Petitioner doesn’t have enough income or - as in Yve’s case - failed to do taxes in time. That’s what he’s talking about. Not obviously changing the petitioner. It has nothing to do with their relationship. This is something that’s very common in visa and immigration matters when there’s insufficient income.

Idk but I totally get where Mohammad is coming from being an immigrant and coming from a culture where we handle conflicts and emotions differently. Americans think everyone should react and process things in an American way. I could tell towards the end of the series he'd checked out of their relationship. Too much whinning and emotional outbursts from Yves. He was ready to walk away but that phonecall from his mother gave him that push to go through with marrying Yves. In the end, he didn't want to marry her. Contrary to conclusions people have made about Mohammad, I dont think he's a narcissist. It's a lot of cultural differences going on and Yves' lack of emotional control and regulation. But I've heard they'd divorced. It was bound to happen. I hope they all find what they are looking for
