My 2001 Triton would run 84 lightly loaded and you had to drive the hell out of it. It don’t and, more importantly, I don’t go that fast anymore. A leisurely 55 works for me now.

Don't get me wrong that's a nice boat and I'm not saying that if somebody gave me one I wouldn't keep it in fish out of it, but there is absolutely no way in hell that you would catch me on what we're doing 90+mph!!!! If something happened and you flew out of that boat and hit the water is like hitting concrete especially at that speed.... I think I'll stick with my VMAX 225 and be just fine hitting 73-74-75ish mph in my Statos!!! That is a really freaking nice boat, my buddy has a bass cat just like the one that you fish out of and I love it, he's got the Mercury pro access 250 just like you, he's got the power poles he's got the whole shebang setup... If I was a few hundred thousand dollars richer I promise you I would have a brand new boat tricked out to the nines.. but, I'm Just Your average Joe working man, I've got a 2006 Stratos 200 Pro XL with a 225 Yamaha VMAX hpdi and she does just fine an runs just fine an If I ever do have to drag race to a spot she'll definitely get on plane real quick with that FURY 27p!! Gets out of the whole an gets on top very fast and runs like a. Beat mule!!!, Regardless . Good video as always. Love it, and like I said of course if I could afford it for somebody gave me one I would definitely drive this boat and be smile from ear to ear every day... Stay safe, watch out for all the idiots on the water.. and tight lines always!! 💪✌️🎣
