The handle is irrelevant and on one side, if it doesn't detach, you'll be cursing that handle, the whole tool is overkill, I got two ones a dewalt and an irwin and used every 2nd day they still same as when I bought them

Used one of those on almost every job. Steel stud framing with hollow metal door frames, you need something like that in tight corners or when stud spacing is to close to fasten the door frame to the stud. Sometimes you would get lucky and the frames would show up on site early, but usually they would show up after all the framing is already done.

I've had mine for nearly 20yrs, cost $80 back then! Best right angle driver adapter on the market. Mine has been used and abused, but still works as it did brand new, breaking bolts, driving lags and drilling odd angle holes in tight areas with drill and paddle bits. Way cheaper, more versatile and compact than a right angle drill. Couldn't find it once and bought a DeWalt, it lasted about 20 mins... 🤣

Some Manufacturers also offer a heavy duty version you can bolt directly onto the machine. You need slightly more space, but you can really push on the drill/ screw. I got one from Metabo but I believe Bosch has them too.

SANTA!!! Are you listening to me? Dear Santa. It has been an incredible two years and I’m super broke. I have been a super good girl. This tool could help me a lot. Like yesterday. I built a little floor shelf at the end of my kitchen cabinets mainly to hold charging cables and other small items to keep my countertop cleared. I attached a piece of wood the length of the bookcase so I could screw it to the cabinet in hopes it won’t tip over. But I forgot one thing. The front has a decorative arch. Oops. No room for my screw driver. I had to use a stubby one in order for it to work. This would have been perfect!” lol so true though. I seem to have a lot of those angles in what I have been building/fixing. Thank you for sharing. I’m for sure liking and saving this info!

The Dewalt is smaller and cheaper. The handle is a good addition in theory but it ends up in the way and very uncomfortable to use. Took the handle off and found it to be just as good as the dewalt

For Appliance work I use the Milwaukee right angle pact driver 99% of the time. Once in while I need more power which is usually only for tub nuts, which I use my Milwaukee 1/2" impact wrench, with a vevor oversized impact socket set that has worked wonders so far! Saved me hours

As a car mechanic I quickly found that those are amazing to have. For clamps, smaller nuts and bolts and weird angles. Got one of these and one without the handle part for even tighter spots.

Those are pretty nifty, but only work in very specific applications. If you're doing work in a lot of tight places, get yourself a 90° drill.

I've had this for a couple years. Nothing on the packaging says you can use an impact for it, but I've used it quite a bit with my impact with no issues. Just note that it may be difficult to get leverage on it in certain situations so an impact could still strip your screw.

I have version one of this back before they put the locking collar and adjustable bar on it. I've had it for about 10 years now roughly and it has never given me a problem, always worked flawlessly. I used it heavily in the HVAC industry for the first five or six years.

For $10 more I bought the 12 volt Bosch "Chameleon" kit. Infinitely more useful. Also. I LOVE how after all that talking. He angled the screw into a space where an impact would have done it at a shallower angle. Unreal.

Ive got a dewalt one. I've had it about 4 years and only used it three times but when you just want that vanity out without removing the whole sink it's an absolute life saver. This one seems much beefier, but I wouldnt use mine for any application requiring force, it has no handle. Either way it's that tool to save you the trip to the store mid project, but you will likely rarely use it.

I recommend buying the M12 4 in 1 if you do a lot of work with fasteners under 3". I have used it in tight spots to put in 5" spax lags. Access super tight or awkward spots and still have plenty of power to turn small-medium paddles

Neat tool for a homeowner. If you do this for a living I'd suggest just buying a low profile, corded, right angle drill. Much more versatile and probably more durable. I've had mine for 20 years.
