@@badgirlmakeover I checked mine and they seem to be the same as the Barbie. I do have a Swan Queen in Swan Lake AA that has some short lashes. Yes loving these outfits. I didn't think I would get into the repros. I also have Francie, Malibu Barbie, 45th and 50th Ken, Silken Flame, 35th Midge and Solo in the Spotlight.

Lovely dolls!! I also love the 90's reproduction Barbies. I have those three and also Poodle Parade, Solo in the Spotlight and the 35th anniversary Barbie which comes in the black and white swimsuit. I redressed her in a new Gay Parisienne outfit. I found the pattern on Etsy. Love your videos. So glad I found you!!!

@@badgirlmakeover omg yes that's cool too. I also had an ocd episode with Midge so to speak lol. I wasn't a fan of "Diva" growing up. Did you also know there are Midge sculpts used for Asian and Native Amer dolls? They're really nice and work better than you would think. There Golden Qi Pao and Great Eras Empress of China for Asian. The Empress has a stump hairdo tho. I have 2 of the 3 Native Amer dolls using the Midge sculpt from Dolls of the World.

Ooh great haul!! The repro dolls are great, and I love the Classique Christie! I know what you mean about the Diva face for Midge, it depends on the face paint for me. And if I had a dollar for every time I said I have to stop buying dolls and then bought more dolls I would have a LOT of dollars LOL

Diva/Midge face always looked kinda weird to me and now I'm obsessed, LOL. It's hard to resist some of these dolls. My "want" list seems to be getting longer not shorter 😮 😂 😭

I have all vintage reproductions that you've bought (and a few more) and I think that they're really underappreciated by collectors - they usually have issues with fully rooted hair and "inaccurate" face screening - but I find them amazing! Their faces are just beautiful and the 90's quality of hair and it's length, oh my... I suppose that in the early years of collector repro editions people from Mattel thought that collectors will expect that kind of standards and not the graphic style of face screening and hair rooted just around the scalp... though the first reproduction ( 35th anniversary Barbie from 1994) has the more accurate face paint, with white irises. And the Busy Girl doll... She's just a gem! My favourite - and the first that I bought. 🖤🖤🖤

It's a pleasure. 🖤 I bought all of them in damaged boxes because I had a plan to do a little restoration (hair is usually full of sticky disintegrated rubber bands) and put them in a showcase. So yeah, I immediately get them out. But few days ago friend gifted me one more (brunette Solo in the Spotlight repro), and she's in undamaged box, so I'm not sure what to do. I'm thinking about taking her out to remove fragments of rubber, fix her hair, and replace her metal post earings with those with plastic posts to avoid eventual green ear problem... and then put her back. 🤔 I like the color scheme of the box, it goes well with other details in my apartament. 🖤❤️

And yeah, the second-favourite in my mini collection is 35th anniversary reproduction Barbie with honney blond hair. I'm looking for brunette too, she's even prettier. 🖤

I've been slowing down on buying more dolls as I've been enjoying the thrill of thrifting and found a few goodies lately. I tend to prefer the brunette dolls, although I recently ended up with a bevy of blondes! Thank you!

@@milanzejak I'll have to invest in a showcase one of these days or at the very least a proper display area for my dolls. I've noticed the disintegrated elastics in some of my dolls hair. So that alone might tempt me to take them out to fix them. I still have my eye on Solo in the Spotlight. ;)
