My brother and I always found creative ways to stretch our Stretch Armstrong toys until they ripped, to the point that our mother wouldn't buy them for us anymore

The Rice Krispies commercial - Pop is voiced by Eddie Deezen here, best known as Eugene the Nerd in the movie of the musical Grease, the voice of Mandark on Dexter's Laboratory, and the "Know it All Kid" in Polar Express.

I remember the first time I saw a commercial for Wario Land, it almost didn't seem real. Wario was a villain in the Nintendo Universe, having appeared just recently as the final boss in Super Mario Land 2, and now he was getting his own game? That kind of thing just didn't happen. The most we ever got at the time was a "hero with attitude". Now Nintendo was going to let us play as a major villain in the Mario series? I remember this led to me hoping that Bowser would eventually get his own game at some point. Still waiting, Nintendo. (No, the RPGs where he is a playable character do not count.)

YES! One of my favorite years as a kid and so many memorable commercials here! I've always loved those SNICK and NICK graphic bumpers with those different colors. That damn Skittles commercials is engraved into my brain with the one kid saying, "New taste, new name. New taste, new name". Finally, Wario Land was one of my favorite Game Boy titles and played it so many times it was almost a cathartic experience.

- I always thought that Big Orange Couch in those SNICK commercials looked so comfortable to sit on. I wonder whatever happened to it after SNICK was discontinued. - I definitely recommend you check out that "Monkey Trouble" movie. It may not be the absolute best monkey movie ever made, but its entertaining enough to gain cult classic status. - All those puppets in the "Little Caesars " commercial are pretty creepy, not just the face on the puppet's tongue.

It’s in storage at the Nickelodeon studios in California. They’ve used recently whenever Kennan came in to promote the new All-That reboot.

From a Vanity Fair article: In reality, there were multiple orange couches. One had black piping and was used for promos; another was trucked around for events with fans. As of 2017, one of the originals is still at Nickelodeon headquarters. A second is owned by former N.B.A. star Shaquille O’Neal. According to O’Neal’s manager: “he liked it, asked for it, and they gave it to him.” www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2017/08/inside-nickelodeon-snick-saturday-night-gamble/amp
