Both my Grandfather and Dad worked for Nasa, but I never got the chance to go to Space Camp myself. However, my cousin got to do it one summer and I remember feeling so jealous. I remember my dad bringing us along to drop him off at "camp" and got to check his dorm. You could definitely notice I was jealous in the pictures.. Lol

I actually went to Space Camp! The astronaut training gyroscope thing was awesome, as was the flight training simulation stuff, and the thing where you had to do 'space tasks' with the giant space suit gloves. Oh! And they had a mock-up of the interior of the US portion of the space station. We were all fascinated by the space toilet. I remember the food being just bland and awful in the cafeteria all week, though. I ate a lot of sad noodles and got yelled at for eating smuggled in candy in my bunk. I was in my sullen tween phase at the time, wearing a lot of baggy clothing to hide any semblance of a human shape, and I was also growing out my bangs, so my pictures from Space Camp are all basically disaffected-Cousin-It-models-for-JNCO.
