I had a blue dress like this one in 1994, I loved it so much. This dress is so pretty! I hope your parents are feeling better.🙂

Great tutorial! One of my favorite aspects of your style is the inevitable tweaks. You manage to find the "sweet spot" between practicality and perfectionism! And you always share the how-to and any pitfalls....

Love the dress, funny I thought the fabric reminded me of Saved By The Bell too but couldn’t figure out why lol

The dress turned out as a really fun summer dress 🤩 And the effort for the title cards was worth it, they look great! ❤️

The cartoon--Hahaha. I remember 1960something, I was at Girl Scout winter camp. I thought my thick, fleece one-piece pajamas would be good, and they were great in the cabin. Going outside to the latrine was a whole different matter in below freezing temps. LOL. I love your dress, the fabric is wonderful. I will, for sure, use the interfacing tip. Thanks!

My husband is working evenings 😩😩😩 I have to wait for him to watch it- my teenager has spent the evening binge watching it and has been miserable since she finished it……I keep saying ‘don’t tell me what happens!!’ Love the fabric and the dress ❤

Opening was fun 😉 Dress is lovely. Evocating memories of how lovely this kind of dress was to wear in hot weather. Was a staple in my wardrobe in the 90s indeed. Still nice silhouette. May have to take another look at that pattern 😽💕

Very cool intro 🤗 The dress turned out do well, I love it, the fabric really is gorgous. I need to watch more Stranger Things I stopped after season 1, the beginning of season 2 didn‘t really catch me 🤨 but apparantly it‘s getting good so I might have to binge watch while sewing 🤗

Love it Sian - I feel inspired to do another shelby but with the lace up hack and I’m planing to add a contrast or lace collar, to make it more 80s, btw the stranger things finally rock! So awesome hehe, thanks for sharing your creations, they are lovely 🌟

Fun intro, reminds me of Closet Historian! I had a blouse in the late 1980's like this print, although I wore it with a hot pink full circle skirt! Have you thought of using the sicily slip dress pattern to make a white viscose slip for summer dresses? xxxxxxx

It looks like the neckline is gaping a bit when you’re sitting down and talking, is that something that will always happen with this kind of pattern?

I am afraid of my own shadow (literally). You know how when you are walking from the street up to the front door and you see a big shadow of a person coming toward you on the side of the house. I gasp and jump every time and then I realize that it is just my shadow and the way the outside lights catch my shadow as I am walking.
