90's Time Capsule / MR2 Turbo

I love mine.. had it for 6yrs and it has a 5sgte (5s block/ 3s head). Built bottom end and gsc s1 cams.. still need a tune but shooting for 700+whp by the summer.. amazing cars to drive.. I’ll def will be keeping mine forever 🙌🏽

Bit late seeing video. I have one of the orginal 10 TRD2000GT kits sold in US back on 1998 as well.. So far I've tracked down 7 orginal kits over the years but hard to say locations now. Unfortunately kits weren't stamped by TRD so only few ways to tell not a copy. Side plates on wing had plastic push pin clips not screws is one orginal item.

dude, you had no knowledge of the car or era he was talking about 😂😂😂 just alone with them custom rims was every difficult to get and took hella connection to even talk to JDM manufacturer back then. glad he kept the car not like most us parted it or sold it or worst wrecked it. the end of 1990s was fun for import car scene. 😎

Not sure if that's a real TRD kit. I was hoping to see the Technocraft number plate on the passenger side of the frunk. Either they took it off since it's been repainted, or just a replica bodykit.

@@CMAutohaus The cars came with a limited edition number when they went to TRD for the kit to be fitted. They went in as standard SW20's (na or turbo) and came out as TRD2000GTs. I saw number 1, a red NA, about 2 years ago in the UK.

As mush as we love the exclusive TRD 2000gt Kit, this car is so Rice out man. Poor Mr2 and poor taste with the wheels and interior.
