This soundbar is really good the bass is a 7/10 the highs are a 8/10 the lows are 7/10 and for a score of 7.5/10. Now what is it good for you ask for more small spaces maybe a 30x30 ft room so ideally this is a perfect option for apartments, studios, personal rooms keep in mind its just the soundbar if your looking for a soundbar with a subwoofer and surround sound speakers for a house then look else you will not be satisfied

I just bought one of these for my small vacation condo. Performs well imo. The people that poo poo it in reviews are ones that have unrealistic expectations. If you want a sound bar that has a true theater feel you will have to pay a lot more. For my needs it works.

I know soundbars can be used via bluetooth on phone and other devices but this was specifically made for watching movies/TV shows from your TV, pure home entertainment. With a 120 watt power and a powerful bass reflex built in its ideal, it basically replaced my 5.1 surround sound setup. Another key feature is it has a S-Force front surround feature so the sound fills the room from front to back.

The problem isn't that it's bad, that for another $50 you can get the s200f with 2.1 channel sound and built in subwoofer. If you're going to use your tv often for several years, $50 just isn't a big investment for a lot more speaker.

But there is such a thing as good enough, for me and my use case I don't want a whole Lotta stuff including a subwoofer. I don't watch a whole Lotta movies I simply watch television and I wanted to have louder volume than my TV speakers provide and the Sony does that and it does it well. I personally tried every sound bar on the market for the most part under $100 and the Sony is the best.

This works great when set on Cinema! Better Clarity and Sound Effects Hit Harder! I connected this with an Optical Cable, this Worked well with my Friend's 43 inch Onn 4K TV, The Bass Hit Really Great!!! when Connected to her TV, all TVs have different sound quality therefore, the sound bar may work better with a TV that has higher sound quality! @@ibrahimalqurines6477 the optical cable was a 12ft monster brand cable, I have it hooked up to a new 32 inch Full HD 1080p Hisense smart TV that I bought over a month ago, and boy does it work well with my New TV, the TV has DTS: X Surround Sound plus I have the Sound bar set on Cinema Sound, 150% Better! Sound Effects are heard all around and the snaps and cracks for guns, rifles, Military weaponry when they are fired, etc, Flawless Quality!!!⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

First, why play only one track? Second, why did you have to go upstairs for? It's ro irrelevant. Third, all you said just it wasn't that bad, so what were your positive and negative points? Fourth, since it is marketed as a soundbar, why didn't you play movies and tested the overall sound?

I bought two of them. They do the job and for what I use them for they work. To me it was an upgrade over like 7-year-old Logitech computer speakers. You know the kind one with the big subwoofer in those two speakers you put in their period there's a bigger upgrade.

I have one their 2014 LED TV model and their TV speakers had always impressed me with good virtual surround and details it just lack bass so this thing just perfect for my budget I just wished that it have RCA connector so I can use use it with older receiver and game consoles. It uses bt version 4.2. I think all bluetooth versions are backwards compatible, you might have to update your laptop bt driver if it doesn't work.

@@Y2Kvids it doesn't matter, it doesn't really test the capabilities of the equipment because that kind of material has such poor dynamics. The original reason was that pop music was crafted to be Iistened to on cheap radios. Nowadays it's mostly because of the loudness wars. If you only listen to pop crap it hardly matters what you buy and you don't even need a review. Others who will be listening to a broader range of material need to know whether it's capable.
