This video helps the Zen look even better lol To answer your question, I have never purchased two balls of the same and drilled the same. Extremely glad that the idol is the Ol trusty rock to pull out.

The surface on the Zen Master is super gritty for some reason. I feel like the Zen Master really comes into its best form once it sheens up a bit or you hit it with a little lighter surface from oob, unless your bowling on a flood

Had a pin up and pin down gb3 at the same time. Anytime I get a new ball to replace the old one it never rolls well even with the same layouts, so I would rather just buy a different ball.

Won a Widow 2.0, got it drilled pin up and ended up getting damaged after 3 shots (lane damage). Got the ball fixed, but didn't roll the same so bought a new one, and drilled it pin down. Ended up correcting the issue with the pin up widow, now have 2 of the same ball.

@@jrproshop It's super blurry, no sharpness or detail. It looks like you were trying to use a wide open aperture to create and artsy effect and it didn't work out. Try F4 and above for best effect.

Great stuff! Definitely like my Zen, but I didn't run out to buy this ball because I have a Zen and a C4 and I didn't want a lot of overlap. As for the q of the day, I've never purchased the same ball twice. I would be curious to go back and throw stuff from 10+ years ago on today's conditions though if I had thought to stash some away.

I have never had two of the same balls, but what i have done is get a direct successor. I had a pin down Severe Delirium and a pin up Resurgence, both dull hybrids with the same resurgence core. i also took a ball that i originally drilled pin up and plugged and redrilled it to pin down

Pin up 65x5x25. Pin down 85x4 7/8x70. Dual angle is the more simple

When I was bowling for Lord Field I receive 4 of the same balls. I would drill 2 pretty standard, one a little less aggressive, 1 pin down to see how that reacts and give one away to my local youth program.

Many moons ago I bought two code red , one pin up one pin down. Honestly stopped using them after the statement solid came out which became my go to ball which has switched to the phase 2

I get 2 of the same sometimes But just save the extra when the other ball is not reacting good anymore (phase 2). I cannot believe how slow the zen master is. I’m really considering it for short patterns. Thanks for the great review.

So far in my league bag (i bowl two men leagues) my play style is more of a stroker, i got in my main bag a phaze 3 a hyroad max and an astro physix the hyroad is really my go to ball then phaze 3 pin down im trying to build a good arsenal just dont know which ball would compliment the phaze 3 and hyroad i have a pro motion and omega crux in my back up bag but never really threw good with those too what would y’all recommend league is coming up quick and im excited

I would get a second ball a couple years later(if available). It may get drilled the same way or it may get tweaked because my game may have gotten better since I had the first one.

Yes, I have two 900 Global Aspects drilled exactly the same. Polished and OOB. These balls are basically exactly the Zen Master with core numbers and coverstock. They just came out a year earlier, with lots of Covid.
