PTX was "supposed" to cover the Cher tune on " The Sing-Off " , where the got their start. They said that they were having difficulties with their arrangement (tempo) and elected to change it up and do " Video Killed the Radio Star " by The Buggles.

You guys are so much fun If you guys know the wizard of OZ. I really really think you should react to PTX collab with Toddrick Hall on the Wizard of Ahhs. There is a side by side comparison video. I did all my clubbing in the late 80s But I was surprised how many I remember once I heard the original version. The Cher effect is she was the 1st one to use autotune to give her voice distinctive sound. Then it got bastardize into correcting for pitch And making Singers Who do not have a lot of talent sound good
