The early 90s and the first 10 years of the 90s, when electronic music came to life and became colorful, cannot be explained and must be experienced. Now, the works done are so poor quality and simple that none of the works even come close to this spirit, energy and emotion, it is so rare... completely. commercial works. Beautifully described! It was an incredible period, so much so that I am still discovering unbelievable tunes that I can’t believe I missed back then! You would think that with all the modern tech around today, making these sounds should be easy, but not so much. Today I miss having a product, a record to hold with beautiful art work and design, compared to downloading a file into my phone and it gets lost there (and the music sounds too clinical, too perfect). Well done and thanks! Wicked selection. Have you tried keeping the cross fader in the middle and using the 2 middle faders instead of how your doing it at the minute? I used to mix your way and switched to mixing with faders… it was much smoother.

For the audio, I have a USB output from my mixer and I use OBS to record. Audacity is another way to record the audio too.
